It’s not a softener, it’s more like conditioner. It goes in the softener dispenser.
I like this product and have used it for a couple of years now. It conditions your clothes. If you prefer your clothes to be really soft, then you may not care for this particular product.

MAKES CLOTHES STINK
Definitely rinses out detergent residue, but clothes stink. Though this is organic, the smell is almost chemical-like. Horrible! Canceling my subscribe & save subscription.

Keep clothes soft and color vibrant
We use in every wash in place of fabric softener and clothes come out feeling soft and the color of fabric stays vibrant. Great product.
