I bought six aprons! In my search for the perfect workshop apron, I came across six that were all well-reviewed and prime-ready, so I decided to do a shoot-out.Bottom line: The best shop apron is the Hudson Woodworking Edition. The best leather apron is the QeeLink. For the price, it is very impressive. I would say that the main shortfall is the pocket situation: the leather chest straps, while nice in appearance, are only good if your utensils have clips. None of my construction pencils do, so I wouldn’t trust them to stay. Further, while the main pocket is quite accommodating, the side pockets are too narrow for almost any of my hand-tools. I can’t think of good use for them other than straw storage. That being said, the leather did seem of good quality and the smell wasn’t as noticeable as some reviewers suggested. I’ve got a good sense of smell and this apron didn’t bother me.Overall: For an inexpensive leather apron, I think you’re getting a good deal, here. However, for a bit more, you could do a lot better. Also, the wife thought this was the ugliest one, so there’s that. All of the pockets are the same and they’re too shallow unless you’re only holding screws. The missing cross back strap was noticeable by comparison. Worst of all, the shoulder straps didn’t adjust well and just kept falling sideways down my arms.Overall: Nice canvas and appealing color, but otherwise, it’s a bit of a mess. If it had better quality straps with shoulder pads or a hammer loop, this one would be the best.Overall: If you want leather over canvas, this here is the one for you. If comfort is most important, it still is. The color is much lighter than pictured - more like the deluxe version. The packaging was also impressive. The only downside is the pockets just aren’t as nice as the Hudson.Overall: If you don’t wanna spend the extra $5 for the Hudson, then this is more than a serviceable shop apron - plus it is more comfortable. It has a great color, excellent quality canvas and straps, a terrific assortment of deep and covered pockets, hammer loops, metal grommets, etc. The only complaint I have is that among such stiff competition, this is the stiffest. It really isn’t all that comfortable at first, but after I put a few miles on it, it started to ease-up. I was most torn between this one and the QeeLink, just because I love the feel of nice leather, especially on that particular apron. But at the end of the day, the Hudson is just pure quality and I know it will last me a long time. So for me, this one’s the keeper.Overall: If you can afford it, this one is the best.★★★★★

I'm 5'7" and this fits perfectly. I was worried I'd be either too big or too small based on some other other user photos. It's perfect, but obviously very adjustable. Super happy. Fabric seems very durable. I use this as a general shop apron. Everything from working on my car, to my bike, to misc projects on the bench. For the price, just go for it.

Great durable apron

I bought the light brown one with the Kangaroo style pockets on the front and the flap over the top of them. I bought it almost 5 years ago and Im still using it almost daily in my woodworking shop. Im only giving it 4 stars because of 2 things, which really arent that bad. One, the front pockets that have the flap over the top are great for collecting sawdust. The flap just doesnt stay down, especially when you are reaching in and out of the pockets constantly for a tape measure or block plane. Not a big deal, but a little annoying. Second, the shoulder straps do get twisted and causes the pads to not sit like they should. I dont even worry about it anymore, Ive just gotten used to them being twisted and dont even try to fix it. The apron still isnt uncomfortable even with twisted straps. I love the durability, and it has definitely been worth the money. Its never torn, ripped, or given me any reason to dislike its construction. I do wish some of the pockets were designed a little differently for some of the tools I carry on me, but thats not the aprons fault. Excellent value for the price and IF my current one ever wears out I would buy it again for sure.

It feels like it will last for a long time. I'm impressed.

Great customer service and wonderful product. I ordered this apron for my husband’s birthday. He is life-long woodworker. Anything wood in our house was crafted by him. That said, he never had an apron that completely worked, but the Hudson apron fits all of his desires…fabric that can withstand lots of wear and tear and pockets that fit his every need. I also want to give a HUGE shout out to the customer service. Without a long story, the unworn apron was damaged before I could even give it to my husband due to our overly enthusiastic dog. I contacted customer service to ask if I could buy the ties, and without a beat they offered to send a brand new apron. Wow! I recommend this product to anyone without any reservations.

Man o man... when this is put on, the grill game is strong! (Lol, corny, I know).Fits well, great color, deep pockets, and holds my phone and other items tight. Love this apron.
