A-Premium Air Conditioner AC Compressor with Clutch Compatible with Hyundai Accent 1.6L 2012-2017, Kia Rio 1.6L 2012-2017

So far this compressor works great! The AC is very cold again. The compressor in our 2017 Hyundai Accent had completely died, so this was the replacement. Installation was fairly easy overall. One thing to note: this compressor does not come with the small pins where the AC lines connect. Make sure you remove the pins from your old compressor and insert them into this one before installing it. My husband didn’t notice this until after the new compressor was fully installed, so he had to remove it again, add the pins, and reinstall the compressor. I took a picture of the pins so others know what to look for. The new compressor fit almost perfectly. When installing the four bolts that mount the compressor to the side of the engine, three of the mounting points sat flush against the engine bracket, but one of the bolt housings didn’t touch the engine. Because of that, the compressor had a slight wobble on that side at first. However, once all four bolts were tightened, the other three mounting points held it snug and secure. Overall it’s working great so far and the AC is very cold again at 40F. Hopefully this compressor lasts a few years We replaced the Condenser, Expansion valve, and compressor from the same manufacturer.

Such a cheap compressor I was worried, but she is holding up strong on my 2015 Hyundai Accent. Blows super cold abd super hot. Would recommend. Even if it is to give out in two years, it is cheaper to put like 6 of these in then it is to put in a single OEM one. Everything lines up perfect, comes with extra o rings and such. And the compressor is a simple repair. If you havent done one and are thinking about it, I would recommend doing it yourself. It took me about 30 minutes, might take at most 2 hours if you havent opened the hood of your car before.

I installed this on a 2014 Hyundai Accent. It fits and works perfectly! I was able to install this, Vacuum the lines, and charge it all in my clients driveway. My client was thrilled to know that I can get the part for $160 and the professional mechanic shops were charging $700 minimum just for the part! I check with my local Autozone, and it is actually $700! This is the only place to get it for this price and A1 Premium has high quality parts. The exact same thing for over $500 less! This A/C is Icy cold, and the engine itself is running much better than the factory A/C ever had it. Serpentine belt fits in perfectly! - Happy self mechanic here, Happy customer, another job completed! 🙌🏾🙏🏾 - Today makes Exactly 3 months later: Customer called in to say A/C is now blowing Hot air.

Recently installed and the AC is working good. The compressor is surprisingly easy to install on the Hyundai Accent.

As a mobil mechanic in the greater Phoenix area I use a lot of A-Premium parts. I find them to be an excellent option with good aftermarket quality for a very reasonable price. I ordered this compressor to replace a noisy that wasn't performing well and would only cool to 65⁰. With normal installation it was installed and functional in 2 hours with no issues or surprises. The compressor made no noise and cooling was restored to 45⁰ with 100⁰ ambient. This particular vehicle belongs to a rideshare driver in the hottest climate in the US, and is transporting passengers to and from the 14th busiest airport in the US, so I would not have ordered a part if I had any questions about the quality of it.

The only thing I found on the old compressor was DVE12 protruding in the metal on the body and no other markings or stickers. Had to remove the splash guard and climb under the car to see it. Was worried when I ordered it but it went right in. 4 bolts to mount it and the 1 to attach the hose bracket. The only thing I switched was the little metal clip that holds the electric connector away from the compressor. The new one was horizontal and the old one held it upward at 45 degrees. One small screw holds it in place. I am no mechanic but it was easier than I thought it was going to be. Had the system vacuumed and recharged by a friend and it is nice and cool again. Saved a lot of money doing it myself. Wife is very happy.

La pièce n'est pas compatible avec un Hyundai Accent 2013, contrairement aux spécifications faites dans la description du produit. Et comme l'installation se faisait 35 jours après la réception de la commande, on ne peux avoir de remboursement... On est évidemment très content...
