Belkin Dual-Fit Armband for iPod Classic (Black)

This armband was purchased for my girlfriend for when she goes running. She has an iPod Classic (obviously) and this works perfectly for her. The case itself is snug enough to hold the iPod in place while lose enough that you do not need to fight the case to get the iPod in. She has already used it 2-3 times without me and can't stop thanking me for it. The armband itself is a nice, soft plastic and the strap fastens very securely around her arm. The case itself is strong enough yet flexible enough that should the strap fail for some reason the iPod will be well protected from an impact with the pavement. Overall: would strongly recommend this product.

The fit for the classic is tight, but touch functions well while behind the protective cover. Size is good, but doesn't stretch much and may be difficult to wear for bigger persons. I'm a bigger person, and it fits well with just over 16 inch upper arms. 17 inches is probably the limit for this product. That said, I think it's a better product than the stretchy type armbands out there because it's secure and look good. Belkin makes great products and this is no exception.

This case from Belkin is a perfect companion for me at the gym. I can now stop using my old iPhone 3G as my backup music player at the gym in my pocket while I'm working out. Belkin's Lillian Classic case can fit any range of sizes due to the stretchy neoprene-like material making up the strap. This in conjunction with the two slots for small or larger arms can fit anywhere from a child to a man with some muscle on him. Huge body builders, don't buy this...probably won't fit anyway. Also, avoid strapping the band down tight if you are working out your arms so you don't stretch it out. I suggest tensing your muscles and strapping down or better yet, put the band on the machine somewhere that does not interfere. Between the two adjustment straps, there is a small pocket that I cannot seem to figure out. I'm guessing it's for spare cord stowage if the cable is very long. It is more of a hindrance to me while I'm running because my superlight headphones keep pulling off. An iPod Classic 160GB easily slides in through the topside of the armband. The cutout does not completely envelop the iPod after it's in, but that means I have much easier access to the hold switch and the headphone jack. There is also a cutout on the bottom for charging/syncing the iPod which is a little too tight right now for the connector to easily fit in. Taking the player out is easier. I am not a big fan of the plastic that shields the iPod itself because it is quite difficult to manipulate the scroll-touch controls for volume and music navigation. Other controls work just fine.

As other reviews have suggested, this armband isn't recommended for people with very big arms. I have fairly decent sized arms and this barely fits on me. I can't imagine this fitting on someone who has been doing power lifting for a very long time. Also, the velcro isn't that great either. Still does the job more often than not but when this one breaks/snaps on me, I'll probably buy a different style one.

One of the things that I hate about the gym is listening to bros grunt, and now, this Belkin F8Z504tt064 Ipod Lillian Classic Dual-Fit Armband (Caviar) makes it that much easier and more convenient to tune them out. Before I didn't have an ipod, and listened to pandora on my blackberry and would put it in between the elastic of my shorts or even in my sports bra, which was super inconvenient. Now that I have an ipod and this armband, my gym world has transformed and my routines will never be the same! With the convenience and comfort of this armband, I'll never have to listen to any grunting bros ever again! It fits comfortably (I have small arms and have no problem with the band size), and I can even easily adjust the volume through the plastic cover. Its probably not that easy to change playlists or artists, but given the awkward angle its at when attached to your arm, I wouldn't really suggest that. Just put on your work out mix and jam!

Read a bunch of reviews on different excercise bands. I saw this and it was the only one less expensive with more positive reviews. It fits great, its soft, flexible and tightens so it dosen't slip. The ipod stays firmly secured and where I left it. Clear face plate is thick and you cannot really change iPod settings through it. You have to take it out. But all in all it is made well and velcro holds securely. I'm really happy with it! I've only had it a month but it seems like it is going to hold up great.

I really like this product. But the design flaws outweigh the overall benefits: 1. Love the key slot--too bad it doesn't accommodate a car key. Fits standard size doorknob keys (I don't know really what they're called, but they're the short normal ones that everyone has at least one for the front door). The pocket is too shallow for the key to my toyota matrix...no matter now i angle it, half of it is sticking out. If I've driven to a field or some outdoor destination where I want to leave my car behind while I run, the key pocket is really ineffective. 2. the clear front panel--actually become scuffed with absurd ease. When this isn't on my arm at the gym, it's in my gym bag. After only 6 weeks, the front panel is either scuffed or has some kind of weird film on it. Nothing in my bag but clean clothing...so I'm not sure where this is coming from. Never happened with any other armband I've owned. This is actually really irritating. 3. Love the material...But if, like me, you're active but still have a few pounds to lose and your arms aren't rock solid muscle all the way through (ie you've got a little layer of arm fat) then sometimes the armband pinches. and sharply enough for an ow. I'd look elsewhere...I'm searching for a replacement as I type this.

Get it while you could. This armband works perfectly and there is no slipping issues.
