Text, images, printing, binding - all top class. Conforms to what we expect from the DK label. Information rich.

The media could not be loaded.  One of the best book about birds

This is a beautiful, large kindle book. Its main part is a detailed coverage of many species of the world, each with a clear image and map and basic information. The species are organized systematically and there are also decent, short descriptions of most families (e.g., anatomy, behavior). There also is an excellent introduction on general bird biology and world habitats. This book works very well on my 10-inch kindle, and it is especially nice in landscape mode (2-page) in which I have great views of the periodic 2-page large images. The print is fine, but I can enlarge it with the pinch and spread function. It is a large file, so one must be a little careful while moving through the book.

The book is beautiful, complete and impressiveBut the cover was damaged and stained…Quite annoying as it is meant to be a gift :(
