Firstly, the positive. For its size (more on this later), the item is very sturdy, easy to clean and attaches well onto the cage bars. Now for the negative. The pictures seem to indicate that it is suitable for a conure or other mid-sized birds, looking like it is so much bigger than a conure. In reality, it is much smaller and the pcitures of the conures have been photo shopped, as the item is tiny. None of my birds (my budgies or my conure) have shown interest in using this item. The item itself is good, but be prepared for a disappointment if any of your birds are larger than a budgie or a canary, as it much smaller an item than indicated on the pictures (not-to-scale).

Seemed ok at 1st, was a little flimsy regarding the attachment to the cage, but bar that, it seemed fine. However, the main issue was the plastic screw fastener. Calling it flimsy doesn't quite do it justice. However, as a sorts of positive. I found, or thought I found, that the poor quality of the plastic left it quite soft and almost flexible. Wich would have made it quite easy to repair... Or so i thought. As I later found out, the same cost saving, quality slacking mentality used when choosing the material. Seemed to have been taken when finishing off the design. As when I checked the back fastening plate, to see if there was anywhere suitable to fix a bolt, I realized the area behind the plate, and to the sides of the threaded hole, was not in fact solid, but had been hollowed out. Saving material, at the cost of strength. But alas, a silver lining! I know know why it felt so loose and flimsy befor it broke.

Oh what fun the birds have using this little bath, honestly it has been a god send , they play in it, they take pieces of twigs and go bath them before putting them in the nest, I change the water regular in it and every day they use it, they just love to bath, It comes in pieces and you put them together, they click in place simple to do, the top is nice and clear so they feel they are out of the cage, it could be used for a sand bath for different birds or you could essentially fill it with toys and odd treats for them to play to get a treat, it fastens to all my cages, its a lovely bright colour that only a couple of my birds have taken time to get used to but they soon want to join in the action, its no way as messy as a dish of water.

Shame the bird printed over the picture of the item gives the wrong impression of size.... I got it for our arthritic canary who liked to chuck his seed everywhere and could no longer grip a perch .... It's good quality, good size for small bird, good design with its little platform - can be used for seed, bath - or sleeping in if your arthritis won't let you grip the perch ! Wish I'd found it sooner.
