Offering much-improved battery life over the original battery, and at a reasonable price, the only downside was having to take the laptop apart for a second time after the battery failed to power the laptop after a couple of days. The connector on the short wire harness that connects the battery to the main circuit board had worked itself loose, by a tiny fraction of an inch, but enough to break the connections. Squeezing the connector halves back together forcefully using a pair of needle-nose pliers did the trick!

My dell will not charge this battery so my laptop can only be used when plugged in now. A message on my dell says I can only use batteries sold by dell.

So glad the staff at Interstate All Battery Center were able to identify the correct battery for me to order. online.I took it back to Geek Squad who put it in my computer. It has worked fine ever since it has the new battery.
