Quality Materials
I wrote the review below, as there were no instructions with the trap. The seller contacted me 2+ weeks after my review and advised me that there is a chrome spring clamp that allows access to retrieve the bait from the trap. A simple instruction card would have avoided my negative review, as it actually looks like that spring clamp is part of the hardware holding the netting in place. This also comes with a nice carrying pouch, I changed my review from 1 star to 5 star. This is a neat folding bait trap, BUT, it has NO door/hatch/exit to retrieve the bait or leftover attractant. There are two areas for the bait to enter the trap, but no way to retreive what you have caught. Instead, the instructions tell you to cut a hole in the trap in accordance with your state/country "exit" size. This is a joke, trying to cut a hole in stretched netting accuratly? And then make some sort of "door" to keep closed while catching bait.

Caught lots of fish from the pond!
My kids had so much fun touching, observing and releasing all the minnows and bluegills we caught!!! I used smoked salmon as a bait, it worked great, even turtles were trying to get in but they wouldn’t feet in there)) definitely worth the money, good buy! I didn’t get a chance to take a picture when we had fish in there…

Looks flimbsy but is actually very sturdy and effective
I actually liked this trap more than I thought I would. It is very light weight, easy to use, folds very easily and it works very well

Perfect for Crawfish
My son LOVES these! Comes with a bag to carry them in, rope, and is very good quality. Durable and the size is exactly what we were looking for. He catches small fish and crawfish in our small creek behind our house. It is so much fun and easy to use.

Very Dificult to get the bait out of the Trap
This is a sturdy trap, however, getting the trapped bait out is very difficult. I would not buy again.

They work
I have 3 of these for catching river shrimp and crawfish. They work great. I love how they fold down and they seem durable. I do think a bad snag or leaving them in the weather constantly would cause issues but they are cheap enough to just replace. They included a bait bag and some twine. you can throw these far out as well if needed, do it like they do on Deadliest Catch when they throw the hook for pot buoys. The material is a plastic mesh and it is strong. like I said above I would be cautious of a snaggy area or letting them bask in the sun for fear of dry rot. Other than that great little traps. I plan on getting some bigger for crabs later on down the road.
