The bed seems comparable to my even more expensive big barker bed that my dog destroyed; but even after 12 hours of sitting, I can't let my dog lay on it. The off-gassing is noxious and actually giving me a headache. I will note that the Big Barker bed did not have this off-gassing and had I known, I probably would have spent the extra money to get another to prevent this. I was disappointed to see the waterproof liner was packaged separately when the bed cover came already on the bed thinking that was a little strange and backwards, but now I totally understand why. Hoping the gasses evaporate soon so my tripod dog can enjoy her new bed.

I was a bit hesitant at first about getting this, after all, it was a bit pricey for a dog bed. But when it arrived and I got the covers on it, I was very pleased with the overall great quality. We have an older dog and she's starting to get stiffness in her joints so we wanted her to have something that she'd be able to get in and out of easily and that would support her comfortably. This does all that very well. We're also currently dog-sitting for my mom's puppy. He had a little accident on our dog's bed, but because I'd put on the included waterproof layer under the case, it was just a matter of unzipping the case and tossing it in the washer. I took it out of the dryer when it was done and it slipped easily right back in place and was as good as new! I had been worried about shrinkage or losing its shape, but it was fine and went back on BEAUTIFULLY! Thank you for such a great bed for our older puppy. She LOVES it!

Actually, our dogs love it . . . but I think it's pretty great, too. The foam dog bed is sturdy and the large size easily accommodates our 50 lb. sprawler. The other dog brings her toys there to chew - it's her new favorite place to stretch out, which leaves more room on the couch for us!My only criticism is the cover is pretty thin and lightweight. I don't know how it will hold up over time but I keep a throw over it for some protection. It would be great if they would offer additional covers in a different fabric . . . something more durable (and washable, of course).

I can't say how happy I am with this product as well as the customer service. I did not receive the liner with my order and they remedied this immediately and followed up later to be sure everything went smoothly and to see if I had any further questions or needed anything else.The bed itself is perfect. The size is great for my 80 lb lab/hound that likes to stretch out. He has scratched at the bed (as they sometimes do before settling in) and the cover held up nicely. I've washed it and dried it on low heat - no shrinkage or any issues putting it back on. The bed is tall and the headrest is a decent height.For the price and the product, after having done extensive research myself, I did not find a better offer. Just received today and my dog seems to love it. Much better than what she was sleeping on previously. So all in all very comfortable for her and the quality for most of it is up to snuff. HOWEVER, my only gripe is the cover for the bed. When I unpacked it, the zipper handle and piece that held the handle on fell clean off before I even touched the thing. Was able to still close the mattress cover over the mattress, but it is going to be very annoying when I need to wash it. Would put 5 stars if the zipper wasn't broken.UPDATE: Seller has been super helpful and quick to assist in sending replacement cover. If mine was just a one off, which it appears to be from other reviewers, then I am back up to 5-stars for the product and assistance from seller.

Fantastic support for my large and elderly shepherd! Not too hard and not to mushy. Plumped up (fully) after about 3 hours. I love that the water proof cover is separate so you don't have to use it. My old 'pup' will have happy hips! I also love that I can buy another cover as we pick up a puppy tomorrow and I just know she will chew through this one :)

After doing research on dog beds and the reviews from people that have purchased dog beds, I have been really pleased with this brand and the purchase. When I first got the bed, I took the cover and washed it on the intermittent cycle of the washer, and hung it to dry. I let the memory foam expand and air out. I also open the protective cover and let that air out. The protective cover was a plus since a lot of the beds do not have these or you have to pay extra. I reassembled the bed and watched to make sure that I wasn't rough with the zippers, as it seems people who bought different named brands of beds had issues with them breaking. I don't know how durable the bed, zippers, and lining will be, since I have only had this bed for a short period of time. Our dog had no problem adapting. The only strange thing was that there were no instructions or product info with the purchase.

This dog bed was perfect for our older GSD. He has had three surgeries on three different legs and the vet says he has arthritis in all three spots so we were looking for support. This bed fits the bill. I love the fact that it came with a water resistant cover for the inner mattress and that the outer cover zips right off for washing. I wish the water resistant cover were made of a little stronger plastic just for getting it on the mattress. I was worried it might tear pulling it on. Definitely would recommend this product. It is all that it says it is. We are very satisfied.
