This jacket feel just like a Carhartt!!! The color of duck fabric is a rich Carhartt brown and it’s nicely insulated. I was afraid it was a washed out brown seen in some of the online pics. The body length is nice to my belt line and the arm length is shorter than my Carhartt Detroit jacket which I preferred. I chose this jacket over the new Carhartt Detroit jacket because it has the hideous ducktail in the back. I’m 5’5” 175lb. Hope this helps.

Comparable to the Carhartt Detroit style jacket. Made in Bangladesh. 100% canvas duck cotton shell. Not as heavy as old school Carhartt duck, but not as light as Carhartt's new jackets. 100% nylon quilted interior lining with 100% polyester insulating fill. Zipper is YKK, but on the smaller side compared to Carhartt's. Two slash style pockets. Two right chest pockets. One is an interior, open pocket, the other an exterior zippered. Accessory interior zipper located on the left separates the shell and lining for access to sew patches, logos, names, or embroidery for the left exterior chest. Double snap buttons on both sleeves at the end and on the rear waist to adjust for comfort, just like the original Carhartt Detroit jacket. All in all, for the price and quality, it was worth it to try. Will update after heavy use in rain, wind, and snow.

I had one of these which had some great logo embroidery for our ranch, and I am wearing it out. It lasted about 10 years. I really wanted to get another one just like it because I did love the old one. I did find this one. It has a few minor differences (the collar is just a bit different), but that small difference is no difference to me. This jacket is great quality as well, and as soon as I can stand to trash the old one, I have this new one ready to go.

Extremely poor fit. Arm holes look like it can fit a body builder’s arms. The body fits like it can fit someone with a large beer belly. 2 stars for decent material. Nowhere is it near the quality of Carhartt Detroit Jacket. I know. I own one myself. If you are a gentleman with this body type, this would fit you very well, but not for average slender / athletic built guys.
