A good primer on the combined power of Customer Data Platform, Digital Transformation, AI and ML
An excellent book on Customer Data Platform (CDP). This is not only for IT professionals and marketers, but for everyone who wants to understand - how to move to a disruptive business model and digital marketing approach and strategy. The author used practical cases to describe the idea and concepts then applies technologies for marketing purpose. It is a must read book for all sales personnel. I love the way author explained the case studies and examples. I can't wait for the next one. I love this book and highly recommend to read.

Definitely provides insight for beginners to CDP!!
Being new to Customer Data Platform this book helped us with basics which are important to know about the customer data. It certainly helped me to think beyond my “current boundaries”, how I can apply this knowledge to my work and explore the digital world more. Thanks Manoj! Anand and myself, we both enjoyed reading/learning from it.

Ouch! A Tough, Unedited, First Draft Read
If you're looking to become educated on Customer Data Platforms (CDP) for your career or job, this is a book that you probably need to avoid. It suffers from a number of issues and there are two primary ones that need to be addressed.1. It lacks editing2. It is shallow, at bestFirst, when running through the book, it's quickly evident that it is a difficult read. Not because of length, it's under 80 pages. Not because of complexity, there is very little of that present. This books suffers from coming off as a rough first draft that no one edited. The grammar alone makes it difficult to read and it suffers from all sorts of misspellings, punctuation mistakes, mismatched verb tenses and misused/misspelled colloquial language. Not to mention every paragraph is full justified, who does that? There are even a handful of random page breaks and blank pages that appear out of nowhere. My personal favorite was a bulleted list of five items that had the copy of the first item repeated as the fifth item. Quite the double take there! It's inexcusable for a book to be published in this condition. Cormac McCarthy this is not.Next, this is a very shallow entry on CDPs. Typically it's easier to complain about a book being too much, needing a purge of a hundred pages or more of fluff. With this book, it again feels like a first draft that went straight to press. The insights are not supported with any sort of depth and I dare say that this book may confuse anyone who looks towards it for their first insight into the field. Taking the 80 pages, really 70 if you don't care all of the random blank pages, and potentially expanding it to 200 with more in-depth insight, may have helped, maybe.Look elsewhere for your primer on the field of Customer Data Platforms, their history, purpose, value and future. It is not to be found here. All that can be found here is a prime example of why editors are important.

Awesome Book on CDP
Awesome book on CDP.. Author has provided very good insight about various types of CDP and futuristic view, how CDP benefits and bring value to the enterprise. Author has discussed multiple case studies & CDP trends which gives holistic view of the structure, framework and building blocks of CDP. A detailed explanation provided how CDP helps to improve customer experience and create more effective marketing & sales strategies. Worth reading... very good Book.

Useless book
You're better off reading online articles instead of this book - this statement applies for both scenarios, If you want to get a high level or a deep dive understanding on CDP. The content is very vague, mostly repeated, so many grammar mistakes, etc. Feels like the book was written by a bot or a kid, felt like it wasn't reviewed or edited by a professional! I usually don't write reviews, since the author asked for one on page 85, this is for you.
