Exactly what I wanted
This case was pretty much exactly what I was looking for. It’s super rugged and is pretty much exactly as advertised. I use it as an extra layer of protection inside my laptop bag as well, since it’s just slim enough to fit in there.

Holy cow this thing is rigid! In my backpack, with a portable monitor against it, this case doesn't flex at all AND has no odd odor! 10/10Bit heavy tho, but not terribly so
