Which are these, hardwood or balsa? Description says both. Hello, can’t be both!

I think Balsa but I am not sure what they would be used for, they are incredibly weak and certainly not adequate for any kind of modeling that requires even moderate strength.

Perfect for my needs!

What can you do with 1/8" square balsa wood sticks? I used them to create a more stable storage system for my machine embroidery thread! I keep my thread in drawers, organized by color number. In order to prevent the threads from sliding around in the drawer, I used the sticks to create a grid to hold each spool in place, affixing the sticks to the inside of the drawer with double-sided tape. The sticks were easy to work with as I could cut them with a craft blade. The sticks fully met my expectations.
