Amazon Basic Care Liposomal Spray for Dry and Irritated Eyes, 15ml

According to the instructions, this should give you a soothing warming feeling...According my experience....it starts off warm, then rapidly builds to Napalm levels of heat!Seriously...it burns...i was literally thinking i should rush to the bathroom and wash this stuff off...but thankfully this burning only lasts 30 seconds or so, but that's long enough.I've used many eye drops, creams and these eye-lid sprays, never had one burn like this, good job you spray it on closed eyes.I've used it a handfull of times just in case my eyes were particularly sensitive the first time, but nope, it continues to burn when used, can't say i noticed any improvement or worsening of my eyes, so it'll sit on the shelf until it expires, but won't rush to use again.

Some of the reviews of this product aren't informed or helpful. I have some knowledge of the eye care market and hope that I can provide some useful information. Firstly, this has a premium formulation, containing hydrogenated lecithin, jojoba oil, trehalose, carbomer and terpinen-4-ol. Terpinen-4-ol is a natural antibacterial and anti-inflammatory component of tea tree oil. As with any healthcare product you MUST read the leaflet before use. The benefits of this product are not felt immediately like with eye drops. It takes some time for the liposomal component to reach the lipid layer of your eye tear film, so the benefit will be more prolonged than eye drops. Spray onto a CLOSED EYE only once or twice, no more. You may get a pleasant warming sensation on the eyelid, this is a result of the premium formulation. Do not rub your eyes. Whilst this product is recommended not to be used with contact lenses these tests are not reflective of the use of the product. In fact the liposomal component of this product can provide benefits to contact lens users that suffer chafing or irritation. You will see a benefit in a short time.

Got this as my eyes are really gritty and itchy even though am taking antihistamine. These worked a treat. A couple of sprays on closed eyes and immediately brings relief . Really recommend it

My eyes!!… I don’t usually right reviews but I don’t understand why Amazon has made an eyelid spray that literally burns.. while it does ‘cure’ my tired and dry eyes that are no longer tired or dry, but feel like they’ve been rubbed with ghost chillies, while only temporary, I don’t understand how they can sell this? Am I allergic? So many questions that will remain unanswered and to think I subscribed to receive these monthly, not on my watch. If you’re looking for pepper spray look no further.

I suffer from dry eyes and used to use one of the leading brands. I'm really pleased with the Amazon product, but you do need to read the leaflet before use. Some of the reviews don't reflect the correct usage of the product. You wouldn't spray anything directly into your eyes, and this product is no different. So make sure you read the leaflet and spray the product onto your eyelids just once ot twice, no more. It provides long term relief.

This is a great product, and incredible value for money versus the 10 ml UK brand leader. Having read a few of the reviews be sure to spray this onto your eyelids, or it will sting. I use contact lenses and it’s OK to use with them as well. Thoroughly recommended.

It burns and stings like hell on the eyelids I have to wash my eyelids afterwards. Do Amazon know what chemicals is needed to make an eyelid mist spray.

The spray works really well and is perfect for my dry eyes (probably from looking at computer monitor all day!)As others have said, you do need to follow the instructions but they are clear and simple.Will be reordering and highly recommend!
