COURAGE IS CALLING: FORTUNE FAVOURS THE BRAVE

This book really helped me to take some courageous steps. It’s absolutely inspiring to read and how beautifully the author has quoted examples and incidents to make his point. We develop courage by doing one thing, out of our comfort zone, everyday.

I loved reading the book. Given so many examples from war, history. But this book had more of philosophical approach rather than the practical approach. However, this book will still inspire you to practice courage as a habit in your daily lives.

Courage is Calling is a book of philosophy at its purest form. But wait! The best part about the book is that it is divided into multiple short chapters so the pace and writing style is well maintained because of it. The various short chapters always begin with a incident/example and sometimes story and then gives us the main moral of the story at the ending of each chapter. There are 2-3 lines at the end of each chapter that will make you feel as if your mind has taken a bath

After reading Ryan’s other books on Stoic virtues , I ordered this book too. But very underwhelming and not as interesting as “ discipline is destiny or obstacle is the way.

Great book, is a bit smaller than expected but the text till now is great. Well written and very interesting, was glued to the pages till now.

A great book for anyone needing a boost and reminder that courage can be found, even when things feel difficult and hard to overcome. Like the writing style of author, using historical figures and storylines to drive the point home. Now read in another of his books, The Obstacle Is The Way- enjoying that so far also.

El libro es de pasta dura, llego en caja, pero como no viene en plástico ni con protección las esquinas de la pasta están un poco dobladas y maltratadas, todo lo demás está bien.

Leitura de avião. Como o livro fala especificamente sobre coragem, acaba ficando meio repetitivo, mas o autor traz histórias inspiradoras e bem interessantes. Vale a pena.
