Let there be STROBE
A light on a home defense firearm that offers an easy to access/manipulate strobe function that can disorient & dissuade a potential home invader could be invaluable. For me the strobe function is of utmost importance and should be first in any sequence of light modes offered for a home defense light. Most lights have a long sequence of manipulations necessary to activate their strobe function. This light fits my needs very well as activating the strobe utilizing the remote switch is amazingly quick with just a quick double tap of the momentary switch. The light with the tail switch installed, believe it or not, is a little finicky and less straight forward to produce the strobe than the remote switch, at least on my light. Also, I cannot get low power on my steady state just high steady state and high strobe, which is perfect because that’s all I want in a weapons light. The light could use some modernization with battery replacement, not an issue with the tail switch installed, as the remote switch needs to be removed (unmounted) to unscrew the end cap to replace battery, if not the remote switch cord just starts kinking and will likely lead to a very short life expectancy for the remote switch. Removing the remote switch for battery replacement can be an endeavor depending on your mounting and cord management system. This light also has a long remote switch cord so cord management does become an issue. The light needs some type of 1/2 turn disconnect for both the tail switch and remote switch end cap for battery replacement. I still prefer battery replacement over the new magnetic connection charging option being offered on more and more products. The tightening knob on the picatinny mount, while convenient, needs to be replaced with the standard flush mount nut. Note that the light and mount are monolithic and not two separate items which I believe allows for a reduction in depth perpendicular to the picatinny, it works for me.I have three difference flashlights that operate with 18650 batteries that produce lots of lumens and this light is on par so no issue with the lights output.Overall my new favorite home defense firearm light as it is quick to strobe with enough lumens to light up the dark allowing for not only greater situational awareness but the effective use of red dot optics.Hope they make some improvements with the battery replacement, picatinny nut and chord length however, I still plan on picking up one maybe even two more. Quite happy with the light at a reasonable price point.

It’s bright!
Excellent value. Everything works like it’s supposed to and it’s brighter than I thought it would be. Good fit. I’m a novice and haven’t experienced the higher end side of this hobby but I don’t know or see how you would need anything more. Very pleased.

Surprisingly good for so cheap
I'm usually cautious about buying budget gun gear and wasn't expecting this to be very good but I was actually a bit surprised. I've ran about 200 rounds though a Mini 14 with this mounted on it and haven't had any mounting issue at all so far. the brightness is great and the 1200 lumens actually lasts longer than I expected. I though the brightness would lower after about 2 minutes but I've had it on for a lot longer and it's still at full brightness as to how long the battery last until it completely goes out, I can't say yet. Speaking of brightness, I can't confirm any numbers but it lights up my whole backyard at night... and my neighbors... and their neighbors. When Pressing the pressure pad to turn on the light it can sometimes activate the strobe or secondary mode as if it's been double pressed. This can be fixed by programming the light to only be on high mode but if you want low or strobe as your secondary mode then it can be a little annoying. The other negative is that you have to unmount the light to take the battery cap of to charge the batteries since the cable doesn't spin freely from the cap, but that just what happens when you go for cheep. I look at stuff with 3 things in mind: cost, quality, and features. 2 of those will always be good and another will lack. In this case the price is great, the quality is good, but you definitely lack some features of higher end weapon lights. I'd recommend this light if you can't afford something more expensive.

SEE UPDATE. Manufacturing error. Will update review once I receive the replacement
5.19.24 UPDATE:I have had my replacement for a bit now. The issue I had with the original looks to be a 1 off error when it's was manufactured. I have mounted it and it works as expected. I have gone through roughly 300 rounds, and it doesn't show any signs that it's a cheap WL. So far I can recommend it, the price is well worth the item you get. Unless you are going to war like half the clowns on Facebook, this WL will work just fine. If you like spending money, and think you are a Facebook soldier, then by all means purchase a 300 dollar light. Otherwise this one feels goodI will update this review once Amazon sends me the replacement. I chose the FDE light. I really like that the Pic mount is part of the actual light housing. Less things to worry about rattling after use. My issue is that the pressure pad manufacturing process. Where the cable mounts to the pressure pad, there were exposed wires in the screw hole. This causes the light to flicker, even when turned off. I asked for a return/replacement because i really like the light for the price. If the 2nd one has the same issue, I will report back. I will remove this review and give my feedback if it's corrected. I don't believe in roasting a company because of a mistake. If 2 are bad in a row, it is not a mistake, it's a habit.

Great bang for the buck
Awesome flashlight for the money. Solid mounting on the light and the pressure switch. Very bright light.

Solid Build
This flashlight mount is a solid build and attaches to quad rails tightly. The kit comes with (2) button tops which one can be pressed as (unmounted) normal flashlight and the other linked to cord with it's own button mount. The button mount cord is lengthly so you can choose to mount the on another rail whilst the flashlight can be mounted on left or right of quad rail. It comes with (2) rechargeable batteries and charger plus a few tools and extra screws if needed. Compared to those high priced one (i.e. Surefire charge $250 for theirbrand) it has a great build as those high priced ones.
