Great for discerning dogs
Based on other reviewers' positive experiences with this product for their pets, I purchased it for a senior Chihuahua that has been diagnosed with congestive heart failure. He's on traditional meds, but I wanted to add this to support his treatment. I'd been opening a supplement for dogs in capsule form and crushing it with his food, but he figured me out. Because I believe that CoQ10 is one of the best supplements we and our pets can take, I really wanted to find another way to get it into him. I don't believe this is marketed for animals, but it works well for that purpose. It's so much more convenient than opening and crushing a capsule, I can divide the dose, and my discerning Chi hasn't detected it. I would take this myself, but it contains soy lecithin, which I'm not too keen on. However, I did try a drop to see what it tastes like. Errr...let's just say that my dog likes it. The dominant flavor is the oil that's necessary in a CoQ10 supplement. I don't know what it tastes like "added to your favorite juice, smoothie, or milk shake," as the description suggests, but apparently, it blends beautifully with cooked ground turkey juice. My Chi's been doing relatively well on this, milk thistle, and hawthorn in addition to his traditional meds; the entire regimen has lessened the regularity of the hacking cough that accompanies CHF, and he has lots of energy. One question I had, and I've seen others ask, is how much of a dose to give a dog. I think the dose should be determined on an individual basis, but I used what the supplement in the capsule contained (30 mg. CoQ10) as a guideline, as well as the research I'd done. I began with three drops in the a.m. and three in the p.m., and I've stuck with this dose as it seems to work well. Overall, I'm glad to have found this, as I think it's made a real contribution to my little guy's well-being.

Tastes like vomit
This is the nastiest tasting supplement I’ve ever encountered. The color & taste is just disgusting.

Product was lumpy.
Not cost effective, product was lumpy even after shaking vigorously. Dropper was clogged with dry product requiring soaking & rinsing in warm water. Disappointed I could not get a refund on this product.

Good product
I like this product. Other reviewers seem to imply that this product is only for animals. I did not see any such indications on the product label except to keep out of reach of children. I like liquid health supplements as I use them topically, as suggested by my health practitioner. If you use topically, check with your health care provider if you should use more drops than the recommended oral dosage. The seller, Equivalent Pharmaceuticals Industries Corp., who I purchased this product from several times packs the item well and has a fast turnaround time for shipments.

Best fit for cats
I cannot attest to the effect of coq10. But if you choose to give q10 to your cat, this is easy. A tiny amount directly in her mouth to ensure full dose taken. It does not have offensive taste or smell. I am hoping continued use benefits my aging cat all over her body. Other reviewers results are really encouraging. I have been using this only for 3 weeks, but I bought a second bottle for myself to see if I can feel any difference.

Not for me
Thought i would try this to improve my health, but it has made me incredibly dizzy and nauseous, thought something was seriously wrong with me. Talked to my doctor and he told me to stop using this as it’s probably whats causing my symptoms. I wish i could return it, wasted money and lost work as i wasnt able to drive due to the severe dizziness and nausea . I dont recommend unless your doctor tells you to take.

Good for my dog
My dog (a shih tzu) loves to slurp liquid nutrients from an eye dropper. I always add 4 drops of this, a few times a day. This, along with liposomal curcumin have significantly helped with her congestive heart failure and collapsed trachea. I can tell because her once hacking cough has changed to an occasional, light clearing of her throat. If I were to get another x-ray, I know it would show a more normal heart size, less congestion, and a more open tracheal passage.
