IT OVERHEATS AND BURNS THE FOOD, SHOULD HAVE A THERMOSTAT

Bought this for a staffer. We work in a Sr. Ctr. that's situated in a synagogue and needed a way to heat and eat my own food while respecting the Kosher laws. This electric lunchbox does it. Saves It heats quickly. You have to watch it because your food will scorch. The sectioned tray is too small and awkward to lift out when it's time to eat. Pack food in a similarly sized dollar store aluminum takeout tray with a cover, remove the lunchbox sectioned tray and sit it into the warmer. In 3-5 min it's too hot to eat. 7-9 if it was frozen. The AC cord is way way too short. Could they spare it? I could see reheating food on a road trip but nothing messy.

We baught this lunch box on Dec 30th 2023. The plugin system works good and heats up food very well but within a month only, 2 big side locks were broken! shown in 2nd picture. Just after a month passed, another lock broke. The handles are very unstable, comes off very easily. Very poor quality product. The inner food containers do not have lid on them, so gravy food messes up with all the other food in the container. We really liked the product but it is not worth buying such expensive item and not get to use it for the long run. We ran out of time but we wish we could get our money back!!!

I love the metal insert that fits in the metal base of this bento box. In the past I bought two others that only had a plastic bottom. The heating element burnt a hole through the bottom plastic bottom. There’s no fear of burning through this lunchbox because of the metal insert and base. Also T his metal bottom heats up much more quickly and evenly so your food is piping hot in about 20-30 minutes!The seal will sometimes leak if the food has more than a little liquid so it either must set upright in the lunchbox or put the food in a ziplock bag inside the box so there’s no leak.The fork and spoon are stainless like regular silverware just smaller to fit in the storage slot in the lid but of a sufficient size for adults or children. There is a 110 cord and a vehicle charger so you can heat your food at your desk or while you’re driving. There is also a cooler bag with carrying strap that fits the lunchbox on the bottom and several fruits or sodas or a mix on top.I bought two, one for myself and one for my grandson who’s in elementary school. I would definitely buy this lunchbox again without reservation.

I’d like to purchase another ss plate to send more than one meal in a cooler.Only there is no way to contact seller.It really is a fantastic item.The sectional plate is unique compared to many other trays.Hospital food is not very good so I send meals daily in a cooler to heat up.Very fast and very easy to clean.
