Great !!!!
Why did you choose this product over others?: These are really good, easy to apply, and stick really well. 3 bits of advice, get them to room temperature (ideally warm weather) and to get the backing off, use a sharp craft knife, on the backing, cut diagonally from one corner to another (mostly) about an inch or so in, it then picks off easier and you can manage to pull the back off in one swipe most of the time, finally when working on the sides, overcut a little bit (a bit larger like 1/2mm) with a good push they do compress a tad, and you get a nice tight fit.

Nice and cheapish
Made a massive chequer board acoustic panel with these I'm very impressed so far, word of warning when they stick they don't want to come off, really adhesive

Excellent
Really pleased with these tiles, very easy to put on as they are self adhesive, ordered them for my son’s music room and he said the quality of sound is definitely better when he’s playing his drums. They also add texture to the walls to make the room look cosier.

Overpriced for 0 quality
Paid nearly £300 for 4 packs. The finish of the product is beyond ridiculous, look cheap and feather light. I doubt these can stop any sound. I was so excited at first and couldn’t wait to get them. Return started!

Waste of money
This product is not soundproof, it is a waste of money.

These look pretty good. Easy to put up. I bought 2 packages. One package was difficult to peel the backing off. The other was fine. In my arrangement, it is best to keep the long horizon line “tight” as the vertical lines are less obvious. The white blended pretty well with the wall

I am extremely pleased with product and how the wall looks now. I have to stop and admire it every time I go in and out of the bedroom. I'm waiting for my neighbors to return from vacation to see if all the sound-proofing worked but I primarily got these acoustic panels for the aesthetics. What I'm counting more on for sound deadening is the 2-pound mass-loaded vinyl (from IsoStore, also sold on Amazon) that's stapled to the drywall and serves as the base layer for these panels. Any further effect these have on noise transmission will simply be icing on the cake. Regarding installation, I had ZERO issues removing the paper backing! ... that is, once you realize that it's quicker and easier to (like another reviewer noted) use a blade to barely scratch the paper (near one of the corners) and just lift the paper only with the tip of the blade. If you're pulling the adhesive layer for more than a millimeter, you're not patient or handy enough to tackle this project, and that's coming from a very impatient person who is no perfectionist. The tile material feels a little bit like fiberglass and at some point, while pressing it down against the wall, it felt like I got a splinter, similar to handling fiberglass without gloves. That only happened once and the invisible splinter went away a few minutes later. It was weird. The tiles are very thick and sturdy and can't be cut with a box cutter blade. However, strong shears worked fine. Also, be mindful of crumpling them while cutting. In the end, I had zero wasted product. If applying to a wall, make sure it's clean and dust-free first. If the adhesive layer goes up against dust, don't be surprised if they don't stay up long. I cleaned the vinyl layer first and, a couple times when I had to reposition a tile, trying to remove a tile also pulled out the vinyl layer AND the staples. The adhesive is VERY strong. My only complaint, but not enough to lower my rating, would have to do with the inconsistency in the dimensions. Some tiles are a very visible 1/16" wider or taller than others. It sort of works out in the end but they can aggregate and you start to notice a stair step pattern starting to form. I had to trim the very edge of a few of these to put an end to that. Once I got to the lower third of the wall (i.e., not eye level), I didn't care as much about it. Consider a subway tile or alternating orientation pattern to better hide these imperfections. I like the consistent pattern I went with, though. There are a few hairline gaps between tiles and they're only visible because of the base vinyl layer being such a strong black color. I may fill them in with a crayon. Even after all the vinyl, tape (used on seams), and stapler, this project was less than a thousand dollars for a 8 x 14 wall and I'm quite pleased with the value proposition of these tiles.
