Good book. I am interested in learning new three ball tricks. They are all in here, discussed and diagramed. I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of this book. Plus, there are some funny quips and info. about the author that help move the book along.

In my opinion this is a must own book for all avid jugglers.My only disappointment is that originally I owned an earlier edition of the book that was formatted in a much larger and easier to read format with organized columns.I guess to save money the recent edition has redone columns and has changed up a lot of the book to make it harder to read.Now the information in this book is still great, its just now presented in a much less easy to use way because of the horrible formatting.I will repeat myself...If you are an avid juggler -- buy this book. You won't be sorry. I just wish I could convince the publisher to go back to the original easy to use and read format.(been a juggler since my teen years and I'm in my mid 40's now-- trust my opinion on this)

This little book was a Christmas gift and it was a big surprise to my adult son who loves to juggle, there are many new skills with easy instructions, really nice little book.

I thought it was a 'how to book'. It isn't. If you don't know how to juggle, this book is worthless. But I don't want to spend money sending it back so I guess I will find a 'how to' book and then this book will be useful.

This is such a wonderful book. I bought this book almost twenty years ago after browsing a copy at the Juggler's Rest Backpackers in New Zealand (the best hostel in the world, by the way), and it is still one of my favorite reference books for juggling. I learned "Mills' Mess" from this book (after hours of practice...), and I still confound friends when I start up the sequence with three random objects. The book is filled with little tidbits of humor, and the illustrations are fun classics. You're going to love this book.

The king of all juggling books... my god this could last you a lifetime with the sheer number of techniques and it is so well explained. The book is also in itself fun to read so its probably good for people of all ages. Love it

Wer auf der Suche nach neuen (Ball)Tricks ist findet hier einen unerschöpflichen Quell.Nachdem ich mir über fast 2 Jahre alle deutschsprachige Literatur, zum Thema Jonglieren zusammengesammelt hatte die ich im internet finden konnte (meine Sammlung umfasst ca. 15 Bücher) musste ich weiter zu einer englischsprachigen Tricksammlung greifen. Es hat sich gelohnt. eine gute investition.Ich denke, dass jeder jongleur, egal wie erfahren, irgendetwas in diesem Buch findert was in sofort flasht und zum Lernen inspieriert. mir ging es so.Zur Struktur:In seinem aufbau ist das buch einzigartig und hebt sich ab von dem was ich bisher gelesen habe deutlich ab.Die Tricks und Figuren sind gut erklärt und mit amüsanten Bildern ausgeschmückt und auch die Inspiration und empfehlungen, was das "verkaufen" von Jongiagekunst angeht kommen nicht zu kurz. Ebenso wird ein einblick in die Philosophie des Jonglierens vermittelt.Das Buch ist alphabetisch geordnet und so sind Schlagwörter einfach zu finden. In den einzelnen Trickbeschreibungen gibt es wiederum auch verweise auf andere, ähnliche Tricks im buch, die fett markiert sind. Das fand ich bestechend gutEs ist meiner Meinung nach für jeden jongleur etwas dabei und geduldig werden auch Grundmuster und der einstieg ins Bälle werfen und Fangen erklärt.Das englisch ist einfach und trotz einiger Fachbegriffe mit einem Wörterbuch leicht zu erschließen.Da das buch von einem "Besessenen" wie er selbst schreibt verfasst wurde wird es wohl auch andere besessene ansprechen. bei mir hat es funktioniert!Wer Jonglage auf sehr hohem Niveau betreibt für den ist auch die "Wissenschaft" der Sitewaps ausfühlich in Mustern und worten erklärt.Zum einstieg in die Jonglage bieten sich andere Bücher an, wie zum Beisspiel "Richtig jonglieren" vom BayrischenTaschenbuchVerlag. Nur wen einmal das Fiebe gepackt hat der sollte in dieses Buch investieren..Für den Fortgeschrittenen Auftritts-und Straßen-Jongleur mit Focus auf Verbesserung und neue Ideen ist dieses Buch meiner Meinung nach ein Muss. Ich persönlich kann permanent Jonglage damit studieren.Nachdem ich mich mit diesem Buch beschäftigt hatte habe ich mir auch sofort den Nachfolger zur Keulenjonglage besorgt. Die Rezension dazu lässt sich fast identisch übernehmen.
