Nice garden tool
I got this primarily for digging and planting.,I have not had it long but have used it to break up soil, clean out weeds, incorporate new soil and fertilizer and plant in containers. It preformed very well. I like that it has a built in hand guard. You don’t have to worry about your hand slipping onto the blade.The blade is dished which allows you to scoop up some soil on it. The blade is also handy for opening potting soil. I have not used it in the ground yet but the serrated edge should come in handy with roots. It is full tang and built like a tank. I would think you would almost have to try to break it. It also has a nice sheath. I like it very much so far.

Expensive but worth every penny
This was expensive but it's replacing at least 2 tools for me. It's the best weeding and digging tool I've used so far. I've not found much use for serrated edge yet and I wonder if that will just make sharpening it myself difficult though. The holster is solid, and it's just a beautiful tool.

Effective for many situations in the garden
It is large and has weight. I find it is easier to use than the long thin weed digger and more versitale because of the sharp edge and the serrated edge.
