Indian Traditional Pure Cotton Patchwork Kantha Quilt, Paisley Print Kantha Quilt Multi Color (Multicolor-11, Twin (60"x 90"))

Such a beautiful boho/hippie quilt. Perfect for warmer weather months as it’s thinner material- but I like that because you can layer it on top of a down comforter in the cooler months.I ordered one and it arrived and it was beautiful- it the colors didn’t really reflect what was on Amazon. I ordered color 13 and the back of the quilt appears green on Amazon- but it was just a tan. I thought maybe I had gotten the wrong color of quilt. I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement very quickly. I unboxed the replacement today and the back of the quilts are the exact same tan color, not green. Definitely handmade as the patchwork is significantly different between the two quilts. Even with the color not being exactly what was pictured, I still am keeping one of the quilts as it is too beautiful not to love!Only negative I have noticed is there are a couple loose and stitching throughout the quilt but I suspected as much being handmade. I plan to wash in a gentle cycle and air dry as to not put it through a lot of stress. I gave 4 out of 5 stars due to that reason (and the color).

I ordered color #17 and the quilt I received is essentially the same color palette but with less blue and more turquoise. The fabrics are all completely different than the ones shown. Mine does not have any pink in it which I was wanting. It has only 2 colors of stitching instead of 4. It is very attractive and light weight. The quilt does not have "batting" or filler like most other quilts. One review noted that the decorative stitching came loose after one washing and it looks to me like that will probably happen to mine too. Normally I wash anything before using but I am not in this case so that I can get some use out of it before threads come loose in the wash. I'm sure some underpaid workers in India are having to stitch these at some ridiculous speed so I don't consider it their fault.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a finely constructed quilt, hand-stitched securely with bright, vibrant reds and pinks. It’s large enough to cover a double bed with plenty still draping the sides. As with anything humanly made it is somewhat expensive but, also with handmade crafts, never the price it should be based on the time and labor it took to construct.

Things I really love:1. the feel of the fabric. It's actual cotton. I washed it & hung outside to dry, so it's a tad crisp (I like) but I can tell it will soften more with a use or two2. It's big. I ordered queen because full was not an option. My bed is low profile & the quilt almost touches the floor in both sides. Plenty long enough to touch the floow in one end & cover pillows in the other.3. Good weight/thickness for Inland, Southern California Summer4. It's beautiful, truly. What I ordered was a bit brighter/lighter, which I would have preferred. In my head I take half a star away for that, but it was not enough to take away a whole star.

SO Dislike Browns & Reds !!!DIDNT Order such depressive colors !DIDNT Order these colors ….Again … it’s a bummer because everything house is great about the material ( beside a couple frays & loose threads ) & I was Very happy for a new bed cover ! Not this one beside NOTHING in my house & life match this colors 😟

Not even close to the color I picked…. RED RED ALL OVER!!! I am not a fan of the color red… it was supposed to be lighter…much lighter with a cream back, NOT RED!!!! Oh well, I had three more in my cart … not going to risk getting an all RED one again. Sorry… I truly love these Indian quilts but this was a huge miss on their part!

It's BEAUTIFUL ❤️❤️❤️I ordered #13. I expected the colors to be a little more subdued, but I'm not disappointed. The stitching is great, the fabrics are beautiful. There are a few strings that can be easily snipped, but other then that it's perfect. I purchased this to use as a cover for a big arm chair, but I believe it will end up on the bed.

There was no odor to the material.Happy with shippingI’m satisfied with the piece I received, it’s pretty, however, I wish that I could choose the actual one I’m getting.
