A Must-Have for Wavy Hair!
I was on the hunt for something that could manage my wavy hair without the frizz or fuss, and "The Perfect Haircare Curly Hair Girls Microfiber Plopping Towel Set" was the answer. The microfiber towels are soft, absorbent, and gentle, keeping my waves intact and significantly reducing drying time. What impressed me most was how well these towels worked for plopping, enhancing my natural waves without any added frizz. It's straightforward, with no complicated techniques required, making my hair routine much easier. My hair feels healthier, looks better, and I've noticed a decrease in split ends and breakage. For anyone with wavy hair looking for a simple upgrade to their routine, this towel set is a game-changer. I only wish I'd found it sooner!

100% Worth The Money
I have fine, thick, waist-length, extry curly hair. And for most of my life I have been broke as heck, so I look for the best thing at the best price because if I'm going to spend some money it better be worth it. This is worth it. When I tell you it naturally takes my hair 6-8 hours to get mostly air dried when I used a regular towel, I am not exaggerating. The microfiber towels like the turby-twist? Maybe 6-7 hours. I hated the feeling of those microfiber loops and then I found out how bad it is to twist your hair like that so I no longer used those in cotton or microfiber. This beauty? About 4-6 hours depending on if I use the washcloth things to scrunch it out. But keep in mind! Waist length and THICK plus only air drying. My main thing about this wasn't that it cut out 1-4 hours of dry time for me, no. The main thing is the amount of FRIZZ THIS THING REDUCED. When I say I have fine hair, I mean I end up with a halo of hair at the end of the day no matter how it started. And this wonderous thing cut that amount of frizz in HALF. EASILY. Maybe even 2/3rds. If you have shorter hair you can probably get away with just the main towel. That's what I started with and then I went back and bought the pack with the little ones for scrunching. That way I had a dry one to plop and hold. I don't know if it's because of how long my hair is or if it's just how I got used to using a cotton sack cloth to plop at first but I don't use it properly with the tie. I cut that sucker off and tie it in a knot. It's perfect. It also works better at drawing out the water while keeping the product in when I plop. Much better than what I've tried before. It took a few tries to figure out the best way for me to wear it but it's been my golden go-to ever since. Tl;dr- reduced my air dry time by a decent amount and the frizziness by unholy amounts. I've also had this product for months now and it is honestly the best thing I have ever used. Definitely worth the money.

Great product
This is my second set. I bought first on Amazon prime day, as it was much cheeper, just out of curiosity, to compare with regular microfiber towels I had. Let me tell you. This is a game changer for people with wavy/curly hairs. Mine are 3a/3b, fine, and fragile, medium length. Iโve tried different combinations with those towels, applying 2Chick protective spray first, and then plopping with this towel, and then applying 2Chick Ultra luxurious leave-in conditioning and styling elixir. My preferred leave in cream was Neutrogena, which they discontinued. So, I had tried many products, including specifically for curly hairs, but they all weighed my hair down significantly. So, I stopped on that 2Chick elixir. Anyway, then I tired plopping without any products, right after squeezing extra water with my hands. So, not applying products for me before plopping with this towel works best. I wear it, depending on how much time I have, the longer, the better. Then I apply those two products, and to hold curls you would need some mousse on top, otherwise, you get some freeze hours later. My favorite mousse is Bumble and Bumble for curly hair. So, after plopping with this towel without products, then scrunching products into my hair, I very gently blow dry it with a diffuser, barely touching my hair. And this towel definitely cuts drying time. After drying, I gently scrunch my hair to separate curls, and you are done. Be aware. My first order was for pink towel, and as I have my hair colored, it stains that pink towel few washes after coloring. So, this time I went with black. And I could definitely use small additional towels to scrunch the extra water after washing, before plopping with larger towel. I saw some review that said they cut the main towel to make it smaller. I have considered it too, as I donโt think I really need that width, but I am not sure about it still. But one can easily cut it off. Btw, customer service with that company maker is great. They followed up with me after my 1st purchase, to make sure the bristles of the detangling brush, which came with an order, werenโt bent. Mine was fine. I actually like their detangling brush too.

The Micro-plopping Towels Work Wonderfully on My Fine Waves...
I have fine, thin, mid-length wavy hair -- consequently, while I definitely have waves, the waves stretch out very easily under the weight of water. In fact, until I got a much shorter haircut than desired (the stylist got carried away), I didn't even realize I'd developed waves because the weight of my previously very long hair was obscuring the fact (until the haircut, I just knew my hair had become frizzier and more tangly than it had been). Upon recognizing there was wave in my hair, though, I've done a good deal of research in caring for it, and I've tried several techniques to come up with the best ones for my hair's thinness and texture. I've tried the normal suggestions for plopping wavy/curly hair multiple times, but that didn't work well due to with my thin, fine hair and my cowlicks -- ultimately, I've found that micro-plopping right side up, making sure to use a wide-tooth comb to comb the hair over the cowlicks before scrunching, and diffusing right-side up just works much better for me. I've also found regular microfiber hair towels/wraps didn't really help preserve the shape of my waves and curls without frizz. Old cotton t-shirts were gentler in that respect, but they weren't nearly as absorbent as was optimal for my hair -- getting the water out more efficiently was preferable with my texture to preserve the shape. I'd heard some good things about this brand, and liked the fact that the material was touted as absorbent but had no loops, so I decided to give this set a shot when I had a gift card to spend. Let me start with what I really like. These towels are as absorbent as I'd hoped they would be, and the results I get when micro-plopping and scrunching in product with the scrunching towels are wonderful -- I get much better wave/curl clumps than with my hands, a microfiber towel, or a cotton tee and I get far less frizz. So if I were only reviewing the micro-plopping towels, I'd have rated those at five stars instead of four (as it stands, I'd actually give this set 4.5 stars if half stars were an option in this rating system). However, because, at the time of this review, the company ONLY offers the scrunching towels I need for micro-plopping bundled with a larger towel that doesn't work very well for me personally, that does lower my rating a bit, especially at this price point. Now, granted, I think that if I had thicker and longer hair, I'd likely have much better results with the standard sized towel that comes with this set, but regular plopping really doesn't work very well for my fine, thin hair, and the larger towel is major overkill for micro-plopping the amount of hair I have -- I end up juggling a major excess of material, and it ends up being kind of awkward when I'm trying to micro-plop the hair I have. So instead, the large towel usually ends up just absorbing drips on my shoulders while I exclusively use the micro-plopping towels on my hair, and for the cost of this set, that larger towel feels like a total waste of my money. Because I scrunch in product with the scrunching towels, having more than two is preferable -- they get a good amount of product in/on them, so I like to switch those scrunching towels out after each use and then wash them all in one load. Instead of being able to purchase a multi-pack set of just the scrunching towels I need, though, I've had to to purchase a couple more of these sets just to get a few more of the scrunching towels. I tend to be frugal in general, and this product is not exactly what I'd call budget-friendly for what it is, so while I'll still spend more money if something performs significantly better than other products I've tried, when it seems clear that a bundle is forcing some consumers to spend money on something they don't want to get something they do because it's the ONLY way to get it, that does have some impact on my evaluation of that product's quality and usefulness for me as a consumer. Sure, I imagine that some consumers might benefit from having both products, but I don't, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I definitely don't need a lot of large drip-towels just to protect my shoulders -- and since this company does offer the larger towel by itself to serve one segment of their customer base, I think it might be worth it to them to consider the fact that offering the scrunching towel either as an individual purchase option or in a multi-pack of just the scrunching towels would better serve another segment of their customer base -- after all, not all curlies/wavies have long, thick hair, but this kind of material DOES help preserve the shape of waves/curls and reduce frizz for those of us who don't, too. Accumulating more of the larger towels, though, is a deterrent to me as I already have more of those now than I need. I suppose I could cut up the larger towels, but despite the fact that they appear to have raw-cut edges (they do look like they are precision-cut, though, and aren't rough), I'm a bit concerned about the material maintaining structural integrity when washed if I cut it with regular fabric scissors (and to be honest, I also have a bit of a thing about things being uneven or obviously cut up by me when I've paid good money for them -- it MIGHT work to cut up a standard towel into smaller pieces and to cut off the parts designed to secure the larger towel for plopping, but to be honest, I can't bring myself to do it and risk ruining them). I also have male friends with shorter/shortish but curly hair who'd benefit from the smaller towels and who care about the way their hair looks, and I'd buy the smaller ones as gifts for them, but I don't want to buy more of this whole set. And it wouldn't be hard for the company to offer them on their own. For this set, the company packages the two scrunching towels in a separate box from the larger towel, and each box has separate labeling, so offering 2-packs or 4-packs of just the scrunching towels wouldn't require them to change their packaging. I think it's worth it to me to explain why, for this particular individual consumer, this package being offered as the ONLY current option to get the scrunching towels impacts my rating of its value and quality -- it is worth noting for others with my hair "situation" as well as for those within the company who have decided to offer this set as the only option for the purchase of scrunching towels -- after all, I always hope companies are reading and considering feedback when making improvements and expanding offerings. Not everyone has the same needs, after all. I DO think that either for individual consumers with thicker, longer hair or for a family with a variance of hair length, thickness, and texture, this set could be a great option as it offers some variety in size and function, though. And I do think the material itself does what I wanted it to do, so I'd gladly recommend the material from which these towels are made to other curlies and wavies. I'd just like an option that's right for me. That being the case, while my rating for this set would be higher if the company offered another option that didn't require I buy items that I don't need or want when I just want more of the scrunching towels, I'm still providing this set a strong rating. And I'm happy enough with the items I actually wanted to buy that I'd absolutely buy more of those scrunching towels if they were offered in an appropriately priced bundle on their own.

I never knew I could love a towel this much
Alright, I had a hard time paying $32 for what's basically a giant lens cleaning cloth with a draw cord sewn on plus two smaller ones, but I was intrigued after seeing them used by some curly/wavy hair influencers. This towel is amazing. It's soft and smooth, and so lightweight but SUPER absorbent. I really like that it doesn't catch lint and hair in the wash like regular microfiber does. The small towels are great for micro plopping, or even just to get most of the water out before using the big one if your goal is to cut down on air dry time. I'm still getting the hang of how to position it for plopping (I'm new), but I do feel like I get less frizz than with microfiber or t-shirt material. I purchased the white bundle because I'd read some complaints about the colorfastness of the dyed ones and didn't want to deal with it. It is true that the white has a hint of purple (almost like looking at bright white under a blacklight), but it looks pretty cool. If I had to complain about something, it's that the shape is a little awkward for me, like too wide but not long enough, which makes it hard to reach the draw cord. I think I just need more practice though. And I think the size overall is pretty versatile for different hair lengths. It's almost annoying how great this towel is, because I don't want to use any of my existing towels, which means I need to buy more. I already ordered another bundle. I'm kind of obsessed.

Best head wrap ever!
My daughter and I have thick curly hair and we usually air dry it. This is the perfect head wrap Iโve been looking for, itโs light, feels comfortable and drys our hair so fast to a comfortable damp level. It even boost our curls to form naturally and less frizzy. Iโm definitely buying more for Christmas gifts!

Very absorbent, and gives my hair so much volume!
FYI, I got the set with one big towel and two mini-towels. From the first moment I started using this set, I noticed how quickly these towels absorb moisture! I used the two mini-towels to pre-dry my hair while I was still standing in the shower. I have A LOT of hair, so I have a particular method for drying it. First, I hand-squeeze my hair to get as much water out of it as possible just by squeezing it with my bare hands. Then I use one mini-towel and do the same thing again, just hand-squeeze as much out of my hair as I can until my mini-towel is soaked. Then I use the other mini-towel to dry my face and neck, and then scrunch my hair with that mini-towel as much as I can until I can't scrunch out any more water from my hair. Then I wrap my hair up with the big towel and finish drying off the rest of my body with a separate (cotton) towel. Once I'm dressed and lotioned and finally able to attend to my hair again, I take it down, put a very small amount of leave-in conditioner on the ends, then put it back up in the same towel, but this time I use the "plopping" method of wrapping my hair, instead of the quick spin-and-tuck method that I first used in the shower. Then I do whatever I want to do for the next couple of hours until my hair is mostly dry, and then I put on my silk bonnet and go to bed. By morning, I have well-defined and soft curls, and an amazing amount of volume in my hair! I've used this method for years for my hair, but I always used a couple of cotton shirts to dry my hair before, and I've never had my hair dry as well before bed as I do now with this microfiber towel. I've certainly never had as much volume in my hair before I got this set of towels. I was initially skeptical of getting this set, because of the price, but I'm glad I did! The quality of the towels is amazing, and I expect them all to last a nice, long time!

Fabulous for keeping curls healthy!
I often fail to read full descriptions of what I buy and this time it worked in my favor, because I didnโt even know I was getting the scrunching towel with the head wrap. And the towel ended up being my favorite! The head wrap is awesome, donโt get me wrong. I love how huge it is, and the design gives you flexibility to wrap your hair however you want (unlike the Turbie Twist which is locked into the one shape). But scrunching my hair with the towel helped with the drying time and the look of my curls. The material feels high quality so I donโt see myself needing a replacement soon, but when I do I will buy this product again!

It is great
Better than all the other hair towels I have had. Great with the additional small towels to remove moisture from hair before using the larger one. Have recommended to friends. Would buy again.

It's perfect!
First off, this is a real ad, not a fake one. Second, I spent a couple hours browsing the other hair towels in Amazon and filtering through the reviews. I settled on this one and I'm glad I did. I'm brand new to treating my hair with respect, so I've never used a t-shirt or any other microfiber towel before. I'm not going to bother trying anything else. I really do think this is more absorpant than a regular good quality towel and I do see a difference in my hair after it dries. The only complaint I have is that it's a tad uncomorable. I'm still learning how to use it in a way that doesn't pull at the top front of my head. I wrap my hair in it REALLY tight so I think that's more of a me issue than a fault of the towel, though. All in all, I'm glad I purchased this and I actually look forward to using it after I shower. I bought the option that comes with the two smaller towels and use those first to get most of the water out of my hair before I throw in the big one, then keep it up while I do my makeup. It's an excellent size, lots of room to fit all my hair as I grow it out.

Wholesome great quality product!
Such a great product. You can feel it's been made with the consumer (especially wavy/curly hair) in mind and with love. A really wholesome product! I love that it includes the scrunching towels to micro-plop! I would definitely recommend!
