This Canon ink has done very well in my two printers. I have continually order this same ink because it does the job. I refill the ink cartridges about six times before I replace them with new ones. I save a great amount of money. Only one thing I would suggest is, when you refill be sure to use your printer (right away). The reason is because it could leak or clog your print head. I have bought different printers but in my opinion, the Canon printers are solid and easy to solve if a problem arose.

Have another container ready to transfer the ink. The bottle cap fell apart when i tried to tighten it and now there's black ink everywhere. Other than that i love it and will buy again.

I have never refilled my own ink cartridge before, so needless to say I made a little bit of a mess the first time around. When the instructions say let the cartridge set for 8 hours so the sponge can soak the ink up, let it sit for 8 hours! I tried printing too soon and it wasn't printing correctly. I did a cleaning, a deep cleaning, and print alignment and I still had to print a few pages before it printed correctly. I waited overnight to see if it would print okay in the morning and it did. I have now ordered color inks to fill my color cartridge. I wish I knew that I could do this before I spent thousands of dollars on ink cartridges over the years for the same printer.

Easy, convenient to use. Prepare to start saving money on all the ink cartridges you wont have to buy now. You may have to eventually as the printer may wear out the cartridge. So ive been told. However its been going on about a year and half since ive purchased a new cartridge. Definitely not since ive got the ink to refill. Ink is a fine quality to me. Hardly Used a quarter of the bottle in since being purchased. Printed through nearly 3 packs of paper in this time.

I got this in today, shipping was a lil slower than expected but that's bc it comes usps. Anyhow, I bought the 4 colors before and used this brand and it worked really good, so when I ran out of the black ink I decided to go w the same brand that I used before and the bottle I received this time is very big and should last a good long time. I know I use a lot of the black ink bc I homeschool my daughter and I'm steadily printing off things and so far I've had no problems with this ink. Also when I refill my cartridges, i can print more sheets than most new cartridges u buy from the store. So if u do a lot of printing and don't want to spend a ton of money this ink is wonderful! I would definitely recommend! And I can honestly say when printing using this ink, u get a good dark color, it's not like other watered down ink. So this will always be my go to ink.

This product did not help our situation!

The product is really good. I followed one of the many videos on YouTube to refill the ink in the printer cartridge. My printer is Canon PIXMA MX492. The printer came with PG-245 ink cartridge. The package came with a syringe, needle and a screw tool to make a hole on the cartridge.When I initially filled the cartridge with around 8 ml of ink I was unable to produce good prints even after priming the same with a vacuum as the YouTube video suggested. Then another video ask me to put the cartridge in hot water for sometime and then fill the same with 2/3 ml of ink over the 8 ml. Once I did the same and primed the cartridge with a vacuum, it started producing prints if normal quality.I would definitely recommend this product.

Easy to use and great knowing I had ink for refilling and saved a drive to the store. Great value!
