love the notebooks & the colours, not a huge fan of how the pens write but that’s just personal preference

I love these: (1) good paper feel -> easy to write on and no bleed-through of ink, (2) attractive and dissimilar colours -> look good but easy to tell apart, (3) attached pen is more convenient, and writes better, than I had anticipated -> no huntng for a pen when ready to write, (4) wipeable cover -> I had not anticipated this being necessary but I was eating an apple while getting one out of my bag. (5) opens fully flat -> I usually prefer wire-bound notebooks so this was important to me.

These are surprisingly good quality for the price and the 120gsm paper seems to hold up to my fountain pens without bleeding so far which is important for me. Lovely colour too - I went a bit mad and bought three other colours so they are stacked and ready to go! The pens are a bit naff but I expected that.

A nice weight in hand and allowing for the pen holder, the width of each notebook is around 14 cm x 21 cm long, with rounded corners. Inside are 64 creamy coloured, smooth pages/128 sides, each with space at the top to write in the 'date' & 'page' (although the latter seems a bit superfluous to me). No margins/no perforations. 26 usable black lines on each page with an approximate gap of 7 mm between (on my ruler measure). Tightly bound, with the exception of the very last page, the book can be persuaded to lie flat without issue, in my experience. ooOoo The 3 different coloured, cellophane-type wrapped A5, '120 gsm', lined notebooks came in a cellophane-type sealed sturdy cardboard box. The yellow is more of a mustard shade than that currently pictured in the stock images above (and the box flash), but that is OK here, for it is for me and the one I will describe! With elastic band close, the plain thick cover notebook has two different coloured ribbons inside to keep your place; silver-grey & sunny yellow in this case. The inside back cover has an expandable paper pocket & the aforementioned elasticated pen holder, with a retractable black ballpoint pen included; lemon coloured barrel with shirt-clip on this one. Better than nothing, it is a thoughtful inclusion, IMO. The inside front page has space for Name/Mobile/E-mail/Address + ~ ‘Please contact with the address above if found. Thank you so much!' There is no physical branding on the item, which I also like, although the easily removed paper band on each shows ‘feela’ and confirms '120 gsm' (images below refer). Possibly a touch expensive at the time or my order, but I like them and my favourite gel pens do not bleed through, even if lingering, + I am expecting that my ‘New Year’ label will stay stuck to the front cover when I finish designing it! Other colours available, including some with all 3 the same, at the time of writing.
