I have used UV film before. It takes a little practice to properly install but it is well worth the effort. It really reduces the heat gain from sliding glass doors or windows. It is mostly like hanging wallpaper without the glue. Just take your time and work out all of the air bubbles and it looks just like the glass.

Apparently our new floors are very sensitive to the sun. After the installer replaced the flooring once around our back door for damage he suggested this. We covered the doors with this alleged UV blocking material. Doesn’t seem to be working. The poor quality yet very expensive “luxury” flooring is the main issue, but I truly don’t believe this product blocked anything. If you’re here looking to save your floors try a different brand. The only plus is it is clear. I wanted to avoid blocking natural light.

I really only needed to protect one window and this was a perfect size. Other rolls came in such large lengths that i would’ve has tons of extra. This window film is very clear and went on easily if you are familiar with this type of application

Instructions seemed fairly easy. Easy is good right? Well, as noted I wetted down the glass and substrate as required and film still peeled away from window after 2 days. Reapplied water spray to affected area and it came off yet again. Pulled entire film off window and threw away. Purchased different brand from local home center , reapplied and after 48 hrs it’s sticking and that works! Same application process, same mil thickness as this brand.

I was ready to accidentally on purpose break my husbands fishtank because the sunlight was causing algae to grow faster than it could be maintained. Bought this to say I tried everything and it worked. The fish live.

I bought this window film thinking it was something it wasn’t. I was looking for something to cover the outside of a door window to keep drafty air out. This film is not for that. I am using it anyway and so far it is adhering to the door. So I can’t give a bad review because I ordered the wrong thing. I’m sure it works fine for it’s intended use.

I was unable to install this. The film stuck to itself and I ended up destroying it trying to get it unstuck. Don't waste your money on this. If I could give zero stars, I would.
