Perfect Toaster Oven if you are looking for an easy to use and easy to clean item. All metal, well made and has an oven light. Has rack and tray.

This is my second Cuisinart toaster oven. My first was a newer and larger digital model that I was so proud to own. It was perfect and performed perfectly and so now I did not hesitate to buy another Cuisinart toaster oven. (My first sadly suffered a pipe burst in my apartment during the Storm Uri 2021. I had not cooked from that time till now). This model like I indicated is smaller and it is not digital. But it serves my purpose. I don't plan to do any great cooking needing a larger model with digital, although I absolutely loved my previous one. I live in a community that provides all meals everyday of the year. But I do some, very little cooking. This model works just fine. You have to know how to use a Cusinart toaster oven which I have previous experience with and know therefore know how to correctly use the controls. So be patient, it will come to you in time! Now I can have my toasted bagel or sourdough and I'm a happy camper! And my special is salmon or chicken packets. Also great for roasting veggies. I'm looking forward to heating a pizza and baking cookies. You can't go wrong with a Cuisinart toaster oven, even though this is quite a bit smaller than my previous one. I do love my Cusinart anything!

I've never actually had a toaster over before, and have always just heated up the entire 'big' oven for melted cheese toasts, small frozen pizzas, and the like. This little gem is the perfect size if you are not expecting to cook large pizzas or large batches of baked goods. Super easy to use, and good looking: nice clean lines, without a lot of complicated digital bells and whistles. Personally, I'm all for simplicity. As others reviews have mentioned, a timer would be nice, but I have not found this to be an issue. Cleans up fairly easily. I'm very happy with it.

I bought this because my last three toasters burned every piece of toast no matter what the setting! I actually got toast with this one! Really nicely toasted toast! It has a light( which doesn’t stay on as it cooks but you can push the light button for a peak if you need to. I like the manual buttons, they are easy to see and operate. It looks like it will be easy to clean as well and doesn’t take up a huge amount of space on the counter. It says it will hold six slices of toast, but, that would be a normal loaf size, bigger or odd size bread ( Dave’s killer bread) will fit less, but it does a good job went you find the right setting for your type of toast. I am happy with it and look forward to checking out the other functions which will just be a bonus for me if the work as well as the toast function. I primarily bought it to have unburnt toast, and it has delivered!

These beautifully designed toaster ovens are DEFECTIVE ! ! ! The manufacturer forgot to add legends to the dials, i.e. the dial for selecting the cooking function has NO indications what cooking function you select, if it is broil, bake, toast, or warm. Likewise the temperature dial has NO indication what temperature you select. Cuisinart has discontinued these models BUT did NOT do a recall for these unquestionably defective appliances. A big black eye for Cuisinart ! ! !
