Will adding this to the abs like resin do the same thing as adding tenatious resin to abs like, ie make it less likely to break?

Hello, SUNLU Nylon Like Resin is very tough, not brittle and stronger than ABS Like Resin, you can print a strong model with only Nylon Like Resin. You can also try to mix it, but we don't recommend mixing it to avoid printing failure.

If there is minimal shrinkage, why do corners of prints lift off the base, but not other resins?

If your corners are lifting then it is your settings that are the issue. Not the resins fault. Purely user error
