Terrible pigment quality
I’ve been using Lorac shadow for years. I’ve had such a great experience with the colors and strength of the pigments, I had no reason to believe there would be any problems with a new palette. BUT, this palette just SUCKS! I have very fair skin. One would think the colors would show up just fine. I can barely get them to show at all. Even building layers renders little effect. Pass on this one friends!

Beautiful neutral palette with a mix of matte and shimmers.
-Would I get it again and would I recommend it: Yes-Why: It's a great, versatile palette. It has neutrals, mattes, metallics and glitter-shimmers. It's a day to night palette. You can do everyday, work friendly looks and also more fun going out or evening looks.-The neutral, rosy, mauve shades are some of my favorites and look good on everyone.Pros:-LORAC palettes are always reliable, high quality and I'm never disappointed in them formula, color or application wise. They’re great palettes and I love every one I’ve ever used.-The Unzipped neutrals are some of my favorites. Every Unzipped palette is neutral, easy to wear and each shade works well with all the others.-If you have other Unzipped palettes and love them, this is worth adding. It's unique enough not to duplicate the other ones, but is a similar, soft color story.-High quality, blend well and apply well. (Some of the larger glitter-shimmers may apply better with a finger vs brush, I'll explain below.)-10 shades, generously sized. A good mix of neutral mattes, shimmers and sparkles and metallics.-Thoughtful, beautiful color scheme. The colors go together really well and it's a well thought out color scheme that gives a lot of options. You won't get bored with this palette and can create a lot of looks.-Flattering on a variety of skin tones. The colors would be beautiful on any skin tone. (For reference, I'm super pale, think Nicole Kidman level pale and it's flattering on me.)-It's more neutral to cool toned. It has a rosy, mauve, pink tone to it vs warmer browns and oranges.Cons:-NoneTips:-Some of the chunkier, larger glitter-shimmers may work better for you as an accent vs all over the eye.-It's normal for formulas like this (that a lot of high-end brands use) in those shades to do better applied pressed on your eye with a finger vs brushed on with a brush.-If you're not happy with the application with a brush on those shades, google YouTube videos on how to apply a pressed glitter with your finger.-You just touch the shadow (I never do this with other shadow types.) very lightly with your finger and press down (like a stamp, vs rub and swipe) with your finger where you want to place the shadow on your eye.-The mattes and less "chunky" shimmers apply normally though.-The chunkier glitter shadows are just different in formula (across many brands) than what you may be used to and you just have to learn how to work with them. It's easy to do once you learn to use your finger and press vs use brushes on those accent glitter shadows.-Invest in a good but inexpensive set of brushes. Real Techniques eye sets (any of them except the ones with the yellow or white bristles, the darker bristled ones are better and always good) are a good value and will give you what you need in a variety of shapes and sizes in a kit. You'll be amazed at how good they are and how much easier it is to apply shadow and blend it vs other brushes (including more expensive natural bristle ones).-If you have trouble with eye shadow lasting, try an eye shadow primer under it. Wet N Wild and Rimmell make inexpensive ones that work well. You don't need a lot, a little goes a long way. A grain of rice size is all you need for each eye.-Side note: The pictures are true to color.

Great colors
These are great colors. However I found that they weren’t as pigmented as I’d hoped they would be. I have darker skin and for some reason most of these colors blended in with my skin tone. I had to use quite a lot of the eyeshadow in order to add color to my lids. Nonetheless I did like the colors even with the added effort it took. And of course I always love the extra details that this company puts in to make the pallets look glamorous and beautiful.

Needs Primer. Light Pigment
9.1.22~ The 'Unzipped' palette is better that the 'Fairytale' one but,In my opinion neither are a good as the pods used to be.'Lorac' had this 'MAC' level pigment & this is more dust than drama. On an up note, the shimmer in this one isn't giving me an allergic reaction like the other. This is good for a softer look or maybe to layer over a better pigment. But you will need a primer & setter to maintain.'Lorac' also used to be Cruelty Free but the palette is Made in China so who knows?
