Informative but somewhat lacking
I wish this book had more illustrations, but it helps me get by. I also wish that the calculator directions were better. They were difficult to understand at times. There should be a companion site that has all directions for each type of calculator. I bought this to have a physical book even though my course required me to purchase the CONNECT access, which already has an ebook. Everyone learns differently, and I'm the type of learner who needs a physical book instead of a computer screen that gives me headaches. It had some water damage, but I expected that.

A lot of filler
Disappointing. I felt the book was a difficult read. The chapters overall seemed too long. Many times I felt they glossed over complicated topics without enough details. And other times it seemed they wasted a half page with useless info. In fact, that is my main problem. The book had so much "filler". They used a lot of words, but said very little. The book was absolutely littered with photos, figures, and diagrams, half of which were not even relevant or necessary.Overall the impression that I got was that they wanted to stretch out the book to be longer by stretching the wording (while not adding additional info) and throwing unnecessary pictures all over the place. If you just want to storm through your Finance class and get an OK grade, this may be fine. But if you want to actually learn and remember the content a month later, you'll definitely want to supplement this with something.

Great text required for one of my undergraduate classes
Great text required for one of my undergraduate classes. I am a few years out and still refer to this for information. Would definitely recommend you buy this over renting.

that are easily missed.
You may not have a choice in text books, but if you do, this one is to be avoided. The explanations are not clear. The pages are full of distracting images, and sometimes there are just a couple of lines of text due to this, that are easily missed.
