Excellent for snorkeling
This is a great aid for snorkeling, even if there aren’t boats around to warn. My friends were able to see where I was at any given time, even when they were only at water level themselves. The rope and clasps are high quality, but the rope is way too long if you’re snorkeling. There’s lots of Velcro that can be used to tie up the excess rope. I got a 1lb diving weight to keep the float oriented correctly. Easily supports two people who need a rest.

NOT what I expected
Construction and shipping were great, but I did not read close enough in the description. This flag is VERY small, not legal for diving in any state I dive in!!

Tiny Flag
Overall it seems ok, but the flag is very small. Returned for a more known brand, which has a 3x larger flag.

Great float!
This float is a great deal in comparison to other floats that are &150+, it has multiple small d-rings and handles. The construction seems to be of good quality.

Flag not big enough
Went out today and went diving the coast guard came up to me and said that the flag is not big enough you need to make a bigger flag for this float

I like the float but the flag fell off the first day. They need a better way to secure the flag.

Great for snorkeling
I bought this for a snorkeling trip to the Florida Keys. The number one cause of boating accidents in Florida is lack of a lookout, so having some very visible way to let them know you are in the water is advisable. This float does the job - it's about the same diameter and 3x longer than a crab trap float, and everyone avoids those. It would be a process to inflate orally, which is why I use an inexpensive electric pump. The electric pump inflates it in less than 10 seconds. No idea how long it would take to inflate by blowing into it, but suspect it would be a bit.

Flag too small and string tangled on everything
The float itself was great. We had to modify the flag pole to hold a larger flag. There was nothing that could be done with the string!! It is made of the wrong material for what we used it for (freediving). Replaced it with a cheaper steering but used a kite steering type reel and had no further issues.
