VanEssential Insulated Blackout Front Door Window Covers Designed for Ford Transit Van High and Medium Roof Year 2015 to Current (Pair) - Cool Gray

I received the 2015 Ford Transit 150 medium roof sliding door blackout insulated panel 10/8. It's awesome! I put off spending the money for 3 years, opting to use Reflectix instead. What a collossal mistake. I wish I'd bought these window covers years ago. Reflectix doesn't insulate anything. This insulated black out window cover fits the sliding door window in my 2015 Ford Transit 150 148" medium roof perfectly! I left the van outside in the cold. I can feel the difference inside. It's definitely warmer. I have the insulated covers for the rear windows coming 10/9/25. This sliding door insulated black out cover is made really well of very sturdy material. The magnets are just strong enough to securely hold the cover in place, but not so strong that it makes it difficult to reposition the cover. I like the short split in the middle. If I hear something outside, I can just lift one side up one fold to see what's happening. I can secure it in that position with if I so choose. I also tried it with the split at the top and that works well too. I like that I can fold it down from the top to look outside without anyone being able to see inside through the bottom of the window. This window cover is well worth the money. I highly recommend it. I'm so glad I don't have to look at Reflectix anymore! Van Essentials has done an outstanding job of engineering these panels, not only do they fit perfectly, they completely block out the light. I can lift a corner and peek out if I hear something without displacing the panel. They both tucked neatly into each rear window. It took me 3 minutes to put them up. I like the charcoal gray inside and black outside. With the sliding door window and rear windows insulated and blacked out, my van will be much warmer in cold weather. Next? I'll buy the covers for my front side windows and windshield! Thank you Van Essentials for designing and manufacturing such high quality products!

I took a chance and ordered these insulated window covers for my 2023 Ford 350 Transit van. They also came with extra magnets but I didn’t need them. They are truly custom fit and literally snap easily onto side and back windows and they stay put! The front window cover is easy to put up as well. The best part is the quality and function! They totally block the light and they help keep my van cooler. Great product! Worth every penny!

SECOND UPDATE: Upgraded to 5 stars. Now that I've used the windshield and front window covers on a few trips, I am happy with them. Just had to get used to the install process. It is way easier to install the front window covers by opening the doors (trickier to install while the doors are closed) UPDATE: I decided to keep both the windshield and side window covers after using them on a road trip (upped from 2 to 3 stars). I found a technique which makes installing the windshield cover around the rear view mirror less stressful on the mirror, regardless, it's a hassle and bit of a process (not quick). I still think the window covers are too large, but they are pretty easy to put on and although they don't seal around the edges (don't achieve blackout), I suppose they are good enough. These are well made and effective, I just thought they would fit better and be easier to use. I did purchase an inexpensive sun shield for the windshield, which is better for quicker / shorter setups, versus needing overnight insulation - it is cheap but works well (good at blocking light and much faster/easier to put on). ORIGINAL: I had high hopes for this windshield cover for my 2018 Transit but am right off the bat I am pretty disappointed and will be returning it. It is too rigid and quite difficult to fit around the rear view mirror. Might get easier with practice, but will look for other options. Feels like a high quality product, but overkill stiffness makes it not easy to quickly install. Oh, bought the front window covers as a bundle with the windshield cover... also disappointed. They don't fit the Transit windows very well at all. They are too large and several of the magnets don't engage. In order to fit flush to the windows, I had to open the doors and close them by capturing the edges of the covers. Bummer. Will be returning these as well.

Really good quality fits perfectly my Ford Transit 2022 rear windows and the magnets are strong The side windows covers fits well but i would have appreciated a bit more fabrics because there's still a little bit of light coming in if they're not perfectly aligned

Silver side to the inside so the magnets work. Excellent product. The insulation does its job. It's cooler in the RV where these are in place.

These are well designed, fit perfectly, and really do make a huge difference in keeping the heat out of my camper van. I have used them for about a year now and find that they stick to the door well.. I haven't had any issues with slippage or poor stitching, etc. I keep these rear window blockers on 100% of the time.
