We needed a stool for the shower when my elderly mother moved in. We didn't want to screw anything into the tiles, so this was a great alternative. We have been using it for over 10 months, and it looks just as good now as it did brand new. We have not had any issues with mold or discolorations, but she tilts it to dry and leaves the shower doors open for ventilation.I love the color and style of this one much more than any other similar stools we saw. The wood is smooth and finished well with no rough edges. Very well built and sturdy enough to actually sit on. She keeps her shampoos on the handy bottom shelf and hangs the bath rug on the towel bar to dry.So glad we found this!

It’s very sturdy the finish is great the water beads upon it so you know it’s protected from the water.

The media could not be loaded. I have a large step-in shower with nowhere to sit or put my soap, shampoo etc. I just got this so not sure how it will hold up over time. However, since my shower is long, I am hoping that by placing it on the far end, opposite the shower head, it will stay in good shape. Overall it is sturdy and it took just a few minutes to put together. The reason for the 4 stars is that this was obviously a return. the packaging was all torn up and the bag with the hardware had been opened and the tool to tighten the screws was missing. This would have caused major problems if I didn't have one handy (from another piece of furniture I recently bought)-the wood pieces were in excellent shape and everything lined up fine.PRO TIP to make this and any other furniture you have to put together last longer and stay sturdy over time:Over the years I have put countless pieces of furniture together: All kinds of materials, all kinds of furniture from desks, tables, bookcases, beds, chairs etc. Over time and from use, the screws always started getting loose, making the piece unstable, rickety, wobbly. It is a pain the in ass to constantly be tightening all those dang screws. So-I started putting wood or construction glue to every joint and every screw hole during initial assembly. See the quick video I did on how to do this. Wood glue or construction glue is fine-just use one that doesn't run or it may get messy. Wood glue/construction glue is cheap and it doesn't take much more time to add this step to your assembly. But it will save you frustration in the future!-Don't put a ton of it or it will bleed out on the edges (if this happens just clean it up with a damp cloth before the glue dries).-Don't put too little or it won't stick well.-Adding glue will create a more permanent bond between two pieces and between the screw and the piece that it is being screwed to.With this particular bench, because it is going in my shower, I will be leaving it out for 48 hours to give the glue time to dry/cure. Small price to pay for making sure this thing doesn't fall apart in the future!

In less than 6 months the wood on this shower bench started splitting and the finish is peeling off. It is not waterproof despite it being listed as a shower chair and is advertised and pictured for use in the shower. I tried contacting the seller and they did not respond initially. After I followed up again a few weeks later, they told me to get in touch with Amazon. I got in touch with Amazon who said there is nothing they can do and that I need to contact the seller about a warranty- which is what I did before. I shared that with Amazon with no further help or assistance. Tried reaching out to seller again but not expecting a response or favorable outcome. Basically just throw your money away instead of buying this, it's not worth the headache, look great out of the box BUT very poor and short lived quality. Amazon customer service is really getting horrible as well. Questioning the value of Prime.

Looks perfect in my bathroom, just what I was looking for for my small space! Now I have a place for clothes or towels etc when showering. I don’t use it in the shower so can’t comment on how it holds up being wet but I love it for my purposes!

My husband and I are pleased with this bench. Its strong, comfortable, and best of all doesn't look like something from the hospital. It's a good buy for the money.
