USB C Adapter Worked Great With My 64GB UHS1 Samsung Evo microSD Card
I have had usb c with my samsung s8 for a while without the need for a usb c adapter but when I got a new work laptop that has a usb c thunderbolt port, 2 usb 3.0 ports and NO SD CARD READER SLOT (lenovo yoga 720) I knew I would need a usb c type adapter so that would leave the usb 3.0 ports for external hard drives and with no sd card slot I would need another way to move files on and off sd/microSD cards and so I figured I would get a nice little usb c adapter and came across this double sided one that also works with regular usb size ports. I tested both the usb c and the regular usb with a 64GB uhs1 samsung microSD card and both worked perfectly. It has a blue light that shows its connected (with the type c port you can reverse it and not see the blue light if you dont want to see it). I tested it out on my samsung galaxy s8 plus' usb c port and it worked fine. The caps stay on tight enough but over time I think many of us who bought this one might lose the caps, so I would have preferred a retractable type of reader where the male ends retract back into the base but this is not a deal breaker as you dont really need the caps except for looks, the ends seem stable enough to not worry about not having them covered all the time in your pocket or a backpack. So far so good, but only time will tell as I would say 75% of the card readers ive purchased usually fail/die/quit working within a year or 2 max, some I have had dead on arrival, some have lasted 2-3 months and I still have 2 that have lasted me almost 2 years, its kinda a crap shoot with these things. If it ever fails I will report back on my review but so far it seems to be well built, durable and works as described. I have included the pics showing it connected and my 64GB microSD card working in windows 10.

Worked on Android and Windows
This little reader worked right out of the box. I have USB-C on my Android and USB 3.0 on desktop. Both function great playing GoPro and Dashcam footage from microsd. Windows recognized it as a reader and not a USB drive, which is perfect.Minor issue not worthy of loosing a star. The slot for the card doesn't leave room for my finger to push the card down far enough to release it. The cap from the stick works a nice tool here so no major problem.

Snappy SD Card Reader
As per advertised, it's a snappy and solid product. However the caps can easily go missing. For someone like me, I would prefer a design without caps. Nevertheless, it's still a very good product.

Doesn't wash well.
Worked great until I washed and dried it. Still worked after that, but the USB-A end was loose and would disconnect internally. So, I'm buying another one. Maybe I won't wash this one soon.

Bought to use to transfer videos from dashcam.
Works great! Used to transfer dashcam video from micro SD to Samsung Galaxy 8+ using USB3.

One Star
Not clear that this did not come with memory. Expensive for just a card reader.

Versatile Card Reader for Computers & Smartphones
A few weeks ago, I went on a vacation across Europe with my friend after graduation and was looking for a card reader that could be used with both my phone and laptop to edit pictures on the go and post on social media. I came across this item and it seemed to fit my needs. Although my Galaxy S8+ has a card reader slot, it involves removing the SIM Card Tray each time I want to swap it out and this isn’t ideal with a phone case on.Pros:- Supports both USB Type C and USB 3.0 connections- Easily recognized by both my Windows 10 laptop and Android phone- No need to install drivers on my PC- LED indicator light shows when card reader is active- Supports microSDHC and microSDXC standards (so you can use newer cards up to 2 TB in size)Cons: - Capped design. You may lose caps on the go and the product would then look janky. - Made of Plastic – I wish it was aluminum and more premium looking. They could also offer other color options to match my devices.

Compact Micro SD Reader
Works well as a micro SD reader. The micro SD slot is spring loaded. The card is almost flush when inserted. You can actually put the cap on with the card in the slot. Might be inconvenient if you want to pull out the card easily or have no nails at all. The caps fit well with a slight nub keeping it on instead of friction fit. Overall good build quality.
