VrHere Flexible Gooseneck 8" Super Large 10x Magnifying LED Lighted Makeup Mirror, Bathroom Vanity Mirror + Strong Suction Cup, 360 Degree Swivel, Daylight, Battery Operated, Cordless & Travel Mirror

My previous model of this item from a little more than a year ago fell from the mirror three times. This is my second purchase to replace the most recent crash in which the entire item fell apart. My husband was able to put it back together and this new one is a back up. I may replace the old one that has been put back together with the new one and keep the old one as the back up. I will have to think on this. I do love this this item abd would not want to be without it. The magnification is terrific. I am legally blind in my right eye and really need assistance to see. I lost the vision in my right eye due to a Staph infection during or after the surgery. The follow-up doctor refused to see me right away., and I had to wait until she had office hours. After 3 days of waiting, the pain and loss of vision which I had the day after surgery but then disappeared, was incredible. This was a doctor from Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia.

Since I now have "old lady eyes" and need reading glasses, getting eye makeup right, etc., has required magnifying mirrors. I had a small 2.5" 10x mirror in a compact that I used for a long time, but it didn't give me a very large field to work in. I bought a 4" 10x mirror that was really distorted. There was barely 2 inches to could see clearly at any given time. I bought an extension mirror that you had secure to the wall, which was fine for my old house, but now I'm a renter again. What to do?I started reading reviews for several options, and came across this mirror. After asking questions about the clarity and such, I decided to buy it. It does not disappoint! The optics are excellent, and the light, which I don't always use, is a bonus. The suction cup is dead solid on the medicine cabinet door I attached it to, and the gooseneck easily allows me to push, pull, and shove it out of the way. I am extremely happy with it.

I like the mirror and don't use the built in light. This is a replacement for the first one I had that lost its suction and the mirror fell into the sink and broke. NOTE: Special attention is necessary to make sure there's a clean surface for the suction cup to be firm and not fall off. This time I pop the mirror off the suction arm to eliminate another broken mirror I use it daily.

Not yet wiling to drill holes in the wall of our bathroom to install a magnifying mirror, I was happy to find this suction cup model. The suction is strong; it holds to the larger bathroom mirror fine. I had thought I would remove it and put it in the drawer if guests came over (we just moved here, so people are coming by to check out our new digs), but so far I've left it in place. It's not obtrusive to me, even though it doesn't match our bronze fixtures and tan walls.As for the mirror itself, I needed one with very good light and 10X magnification, and this one is great. I don't always use the light, so I can't speak to battery life in terms of daily use, but I've used the mirror for a few months and the batteries seem fine.

Works great. The only thing is that, it will fall from your mirror if you don't moisten the suction cup every 30 days. It does snap back together easily and still works. :-)

It works great. The suction is good and it’s easy to mount. It was nice to have while traveling; the light and magnification are a must. Glad I made this purchase.

I purchased this product for the sole purpose of plucking hair bumps from my face and neck. The bad thing I've experienced is that while I can see ingrown hairs on my face quite clearly in the mirror the same cannot be said of the ones on my neck, its very blurry so i cant see them. I think its because of the mirrors small size, if it were bigger I think that would solve the problem.UPDATE: The lighting or rather the lack thereof was a problem for me earlier as I found the light to be too dim. Little did I know that the batteries used in it were the problem. I switched to some Duracell batteries and boy did that thing light up alot brighter.

Should have read description thoroughly. I thought I was ordering 2 different magnifications.

My husband turned this on and said the light was too bright. Well let me tell you IT SO ISN'T. It's brilliant. Especially for women who tweeze anything on their face. Amazing is what this is. I LOVE IT. It's my new BFF! 10x magnification and bright lights - what could be better???? NOTHING!!!

This mirror is well made, but however, I did return it as it wasn't long enough for where I needed it to go. It would only stick to very smooth clean items and I'm not sure how well it would stay in place.

Whilst the mirror and light is fantastic the mirror falls off everything I have tried to stick it to so this renders it useless!!
