I bought this kettle after returning a different model, that had a faulty lid, from the same company. I actually went with this one because it was going to come a day faster than a replacement and was less expensive—I’m visiting from out of state, so needed something fast, and that I could use for future visits. The first model with the faulty lid was VERY handsome and nice. I am really pleased with this last model too. Because it was so inexpensive I thought it was going to be a ‘cheap’ product; however, it is VERY nice, solid, well-made—feels like quality. It’s wide mouth for ease of cleaning, functions well, heats quickly. It is in fact nicer than the one I’m going home to—trust me, I like nice things and price isn’t much of a concern when I’m looking for quality: Im known as a ‘gadget girl’. If the two kettles are a good indication, This company makes beautiful, quality products. My only complaint is that the measurement guide on these products are metric. I know there is about 227mL to one 8oz cup—so a little bit of math may be needed at first.

Does exactly what it says. Perfect for home or work. Looks good, functional, good quality, heats up quickly, appears to BBR rust resistant and great water capacity.

I'm updating this review and changing it to 5 stars as the replacement kettle works wonderfully well, and it's the exact same one as the very first one I bought about 6 years ago! That one lasted 6 years before it finally stopped working. So if you want a great kettle that's a good size and aesthetically pleasing, and comes in beautiful colors, I highly recommend this one! -------------- I had this same kettle for 6 years and it worked great, so recently when it finally died, I decided to purchase the same kettle again. The first one arrived in box that had seen better days and it was obvious that it had been opened and used by someone. So I returned it to Amazon. I still liked the kettle so much (the original one that I had for 6 years) that I decided to give it another try and purchased the same kettle again. This one looked great, nice and shiny and brand new, but the lid at the top of the kettle did not work well, so I returned that one. Once again I decided to purchase the same kettle again (third time's a charm right?) and it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow. We'll see how that goes. I'm giving it 3 stars because of all the issues I had but I will try once more because the first kettle was just so wonderful! If it works out well this time, I will update my review. I hope this kettle will be the one I've been waiting for and I hope it lasts at least as long as my first one did!

love the color and works perfectly fine . I was thinking of getting a smaller kettle since it's just me but I usually have a few drinks out of each pot so it works out. cleaning is easy I just use it for water, boiling doesn't take too long and it's not loud so I don't understand those complaints . takes about 5 minutes not sure to boil full kettle. it's not too long I feel like between these devices and a pot on the stove plus wiping out the pot after these are more convenient.

The boiling time is impressively fast and makes a big difference in the kitchen. The design is simple and clean, and it doesn’t take up much space. Perfect for daily tea and coffee. It has worked flawlessly so far and I find it excellent in terms of price and performance.

This is a great kettle for quick heating! I use it at work where it sits neatly on my desk. Perfect for a quick cup of tea, or any favorite hot beverage. The kettle turns off automatically once the water reaches its boiling temperature. It may appear to be a little noisy as the water boils, but nothing that will cause disturbance.

Great size and works great. It seems ti stay hot longer than my last as well. It has a nice thick 3 prong cord, and looks to be well made.

I use this OVENTE Electric Kettle nearly every day and it is still going strong after many months of use. Previous kettles that were great unfortunately pooped out after regular use or turned rusty. Whenever I need hot water, I just fill it with fresh cold water and in just a few minutes it's boiling and ready to use. Super fast. It looks smart sitting in its cubby area and has heated water for instant soups, hot coffee and tea, instant potatoes and so much more. Really glad I purchased it. Simply plug in the base and you can remove the kettle to fill and place elsewhere after heating, to keep hot water handy. I have my base plugged into a grounded outlet with an on/off switch for safety. The kettle actually cuts off when it reaches the boiling point. Very handy. My only complaint is the lid does not come off or open wide enough to clean the inside. I've only been able to toss a cloth in there to swish around, but so far it hasn't been an issue. Just wish the lid opened wide enough for my hand. Other than that, I would purchase it again.

This kettle is lovely, great quality and nice and light. Also, fast to boil.

Love the colour, it’s easy to use and even lights up. Holds a lot of water, keeps it hot and pours so there is no splashing.
