sleek look and clean sound
Its a streamlined piano black look with a nice heft to it. No hum. Completely manual (you must interact and lift the needle at start and end). My 30 year old automatic turntable was great but the stylus lifting mechanism busted, and that affected the entire turntable. So, while I miss an automatic return, its not the end of the world. This took many weeks to be delivered, but the distributor (AudioLab- they were AMAZING) made up for that via direct contact. Plus, it was just when covid hit, and everyone was scrambling so there's that. There are not many decent low priced turntable choices that spin at 78, a requirement of mine. This is about the lowest priced one I would consider. Those other plasticky $100 ones by Crosley and various funky names are pretty much garbage. Solid heavy plinth, interchangeable cartridge, 3 speeds, and a clean look that doesn't make you look like a poser D.J.Warning: This is a dust catcher. Better to see the dust than not though.Hint: Buy an extra headshell. You'll want to swap out the 78 cartridge (not included) if that's why you're buying this (to play family recordings or other old 78s). Its much easier to have it already mounted and aligned in a headshell. My 78 cartridge is an Ortofon 2M 78 mounted to an AudioTechnica AT-HS3. Also, investigate the different 78 stylus types. They do vary in mm width, and depending on the age or type of your 78s, you may wish to choose a different 78 stylus. I found the 2M78 to be the most middle/wide ranged.

Get it. It’s a good turntable.
Good turntable for audiophiles, not for DJ’s. Sounds excellent, belt-driven motor adds no noise. Has built-in phono pre-amp, so it’s ready to be hooked up to a receiver using any audio input or can be connected to powered speakers. Line option switch in the back allows for an external phono pre-amp connection. Nice grounding bolt in the back helps with setup. Easy tone arm calibration & platter assembly. Audio-Technica AT-3600 comes pre-aligned, so no protractors needed unless if owner wants to check alignment. The only worries w/ the cartridge is that the tracking force is 3 grams which is on the high end. I’d rather 2 grams to avoid tearing up the vinyl. But it’s upgradable & w/in tolerance. There is no damage to the grooves. It sounds hi-fi. Just very gently clean the needle w/ Mr. Clean dry magic eraser after every spin. Very good quality audio gear. The guitar/piano classic black finish on the plinth is stylish. It’s a modern, low-profile, sleek turntable that plays 45s w/ included adapter, 33s & 78s (needs a specific stylus for 78s). The tone arm is manual w/ a cuing lever which can be used to gently raise and lower the stylus on and off the LPs to prevent scratching. A circuit under the motor can be adjusted to change playing speed, but no pitch changing controls like on DJ turntables.

New to vinyl, this is amazing, no BS
Wanted to get into vinyl and did a good amount of digging for solid products without breaking the bank. I was advised to get a decent receiver off CL and find some similar speakers for an okay first time set up. I was told not to skimp out on the turntable so I was unsure if this product was at the lower or upper end of quality. So far all the records I’ve played sound amazing! The set up was beyond easy and any review that says otherwise is wrong. This was perfect for a beginner and sounds so good on my set up. Onkyo receiver and Sony speakers from Craig’s list. Please don’t waste your paycheck on a $500-1000 dollar starter set when I payed 400 for everything I needed.

Nostalgia meets modern! PERFECT GIFT!
I purchased this turntable as an anniversary gift for my husband. I could see the nostalgia take hold of his emotions. His face said it all. It was a big hit! This was one of the best purchases ever! The sound is fantastic. It looks retro but modern and sleek.

Small tag, Big Sound
This is a great TT. I bought one for my sons 17th birthday. He noticed right away that it was more musical than his vintage MCS. Loud and clear as well. We are not using the pre amp but it’s a nice feature. Pair this table with a nice vintage amp and it sounds amazing. In the TT world this is small money But big sound and it’s set up at the factory. So it’s a plug and play and your not destroying your records which is the ultimate consideration?

Awesome turbtable!
This is a great turntable, more or less "plug and play" out of the box with the built in pre-amp. Sounds great! I love the weighted arm so there is proper cartridge pressure and it doesn't wear out the vinyl too fast like cheaper turntables. Just a note for beginners, you will either need an amplifier to plug this into, then run to passive speakers, or you need powered speakers to just plug and play.
