awesome light, but a pain to hang.
This light is awesome. Once it's installed it looks incredible. It is *very* bright though. My recommendation is to purchase a dimmer (Lutron ones work) prior to beginning the installation so you have it when you need it.Pro tip for the installation: measure the length of one of the wires for each level (i.e., the bigger and smaller rectangles). Cut a piece of string or wire to that length. Then use that string/wire to get all of the other wires to the same length. This will get you about 95% of the way to having a perfectly level light. The last 5% is tweaking it by hand (you can raise/lower individual wires without having to take the light off the ceiling). I did not have to do much tweaking because my ceiling is fairly level, but yours may not be.

Very bright even light
Perfect! (Once installed). We have this light and the single square one. Dimming is smooth and feels very natural. We were worried that there would be hot spots or that you might be able to see individual LEDs, but it has been extremely even light. We were also worried about it only shining down, but were happy to find that about 10% of the light reflects back up to the ceiling.Installation is very tedious. Plan to have a helper balance the light while you mount the canopy. You also must screw the ends of the mounting bracket to your ceiling- I recommend replacing the provided drywall anchors with screw-in anchors. The only other challenge is that your ceiling must be perfectly flat if you don't have any texture. If there are any waves in the drywall, canopy won't sit flush and the wires will sneak out from between the top of the canopy and ceiling as you shorten them. It would be nice if they had added a plastic fin inside the canopy to keep the wires tucked in.Overall a great light! Just plan an hour to install it.

Installation is not for the faint hearted.
This is a very nice light fixture. Its stylish, very bright and looks fantastic in our kitchen. Its gets 4 starts because installation is a nightmare. Fixing the mounting bracket is easy enough, problems start when you have to untangle the wires. I think my unit may have been incorrectly assembled, because there is no way the wires couldbe untangled without dissasembly. There are two types ofsupport wire on these fixtures, plain steel cable for support and wires that actually send the low voltageto the LEDs. Removing/replacing the steel wires is pretty easy, but I had to remove/reconnect two ofpower supply wires as well. This is probably a bit beyond most people, you need a heat shrink gun. Also the wires are really long, as this fixture can hang down nearly 10 feet from the ceiling. So if yourinstallation requires shorter wires (mine was about 30") you have a lot of extra wire to deal with.Installation is a 2 person job. There have been comments about this unit buzzing. It does, but only if you use the wrong typeof dimmer switch. You must use an "Electronic Low Voltage" dimmer. Both Vonn and Lutron (switch company) have good technical support, but it would be nice if the typeof dimmer was specified in the description and in the (pretty brief) installation instructions.

Cool looking light. Have patience...
Installation was pretty easy for a hanging light. The hanging wiring was the most difficult part. You really need a good amount of patience and puzzle problem solving skills for this one...For as much as thing fixture costs Vonn really needs to invest in a good procedural writer to rewrite these instructions. Instructional materials are the worst part of this light. Luckly you get to throw those away (recycle). To untangle the wiring (it will be tangled, sorry) both light modules need to be brought level with each other. From there you’ll see that the smaller module needs to carefully loop around the large one. Then the module needs to do a complete 360 degree long end over long end roll. Once the small module is untangled. Elevate it up out of the way I’ve the larger and do the same careful acrobatic move with the large module. Have patience, take a step back from time to time, and use a level to get everything thing squared up. Most time consuming part is pushing the wiring into the ceiling unit. They seem to include enough wiring for a 20foot vaulted ceiling. There is a lot of wire!Oh, and as stated about a dozen times...DO NOT CUT THE WIRES! The user friendliness of the wiring could have been better. Over all it’s a great modern looking light.
