How can this possibly accomodate a 10" memory foam mattress (manufactured by Zinus) which states that slats have to be no more than 3" apart?

We recently purchased this bedframe and have a 10" high full sz tuft and needle adaptive foam (memory foam) mattress. We are tall and weight proportional and this mattress does not slide, move, or sink thru slats. It looks great, clean lines and lots of storage underneath. Five stars from these two senior citizens!! We love it!!
