Q: Is it bpa free? how do it compare to the yeti?

First question: Line 3 of the description states that the lid (the plastic part) is BPA free. It doesn't specifically state that the straw is BPA-free (just calls it a plastic straw), but the website states that "all bubbas are BPA free." As to how it compares to a Yeti. Fairly well, would be my evaluation (I have the plain SS model). The construction is quite good. I have dropped mine off the top of my SUV on to a concrete floor (almost 6'), while it was full, and it only has a small dent, and it has small nicks and scratches from a year of constant use. How well would a Yeti fare? Probably as good or better. The question is is it worth 3 times as much? I got 3 of these for the price of one Yeti. Other negatives: It doesn't have a leak-proof lid (closeable opening), like the Yeti, so if that is an important feature, look elsewhere. And strangely, while the 18 oz is dishwasher safe, the 24 oz model is not (body), despite appearing identical. It doesn't matter, as the 24 oz size is too tall for the top rack of my non-adjustable dishwasher anyway.

No it doesn't it's amazing!! I drive all day in my car and leave my bubba cup in the car and it will keep my drink cold all day and no sweating!!

Q: What are the dimensions of the straw? Can the cup be put in the freezer ahead of time to make it last longer when in use?

The straw is 10 inches long and the diameter of the opening is a quarter-inch. Do you mean putting it in the freezer without any liquid in it--or filling it with a drink and then freezing it? If you freeze your drink in it then I imagine it would stay colder longer. Just freezing the cup, though, I haven't a clue.

Is exactly on point...I ordered these (20oz size)...they fit perfectly and indeed are completely spill proof...even have a fitted hole for a straw in the middle that keeps it spill proof even with the straw in place!
