The Frigates of EVE Online Hardcover – June 13, 2017

I got an electronic version. Unfortunately, the Kindle Cloud website is unable to display the photos at an appropriate size or zoom into them. But based on the samples, the images are well detailed and interesting. As for the text, there are a few inconsistencies (in the Condor section, the Atron is referred to as a railgun platform; whereas in its own section it's referred to as a blaster platform. The Helios is called an assault frigate instead of covops. Interceptors are referred to as providing interdiction. The Tristan's prior role with missiles is omitted in place of some vague mention of logistics drones. Eifyr, which manufactures biotech and implants, makes giant electric equipment for the Rifter out of nowhere.) There are a few neat details overall, but ultimately I did not enjoy this as much as I had hoped.

I was surprised by the quality of the book for the price. The detail is good and my son loves looking at spaceship diagrams.I would recommend this to any EVE fan that likes these concepts or someone that just like spaceship design concepts as the drawings are well done with the cut aways.

I received mine a week and a half ago, and I've got to say it's a lot better looking in person. The ship diagrams and explanations really do the game's universe justice, and I'd buy it again for someone else if it weren't for the fact that the darker pages tend to react much easier with the oils in your fingers. I attempted to clean the oils off but that made it a bit worse. I guess I'll deal with gripping the edges of the paper with the tips of my fingers then.

This is a lovely book. The illustrations are detailed and excellently executed and the text gives some background on the ships which was not available (or at least easily available) previously.The only downside is that the dark glossy pages are fingerprint magnets. I washed my hands directly before opening the book for the first time, but before I had flipped through four pages I was already seeing smudges. If you want to keep your copy in great condition you'd better buy a pair of cotton gloves to wear when looking through it.

Awesome book!Coffee table quality..like really glossy thick pages...beautifully done..and stories and info inside are entertaining..giving background to game..covers all frigates inc navy etc variants.I cant emphasize how good this book is for the EVE nerd...i soooooo wish they would put out more f them for say each class of ships..would gladly buy EVERY ONE!!!

Great book for the EVE enthusiast. It details all the standard and Navy faction frigates, adds greatly to the lore of these fun ships. Beautifully rendered, the book is a nice collector's item that a player of EVE will read again and again. It even answers the most asked question out there for these ships, where does the pod go?

I always hoped that they would keep producing these for all the other classes of ships as well but it seems they never got around to that.

A ton of love for EVE's ships went into this book. I was astonished by how beautifully rendered everything is, and all of the images contain minute details and tiny stories that bring everything to life. This is a beautiful book to have around the home if spaceships spark your imagination. A wonderful, beautifully laid out coffee table book.

Oh to have the memory to conjure up the stories or the details in the ships. Great book to flick through

La verdad, no merece la pena. El libro auténtico venía formateado con imagenes y fondos que se asemejan al juego. Aquí, el texto viene sobre fondo blando, perdiendo todo el encanto. Las unicas imagenes persistentes son las de las ilustraciones y ni eso viene bien. Están pixeladas, y por como funciona la App y el programa de Kindle, no puedes verla con calidad. En PC no puedes ponerlo a pantalla completa, supongo que para evitar que hagas capturas. Y en movil, no va muy bien el zoom. El contenido es bueno, si te gusta el EvE es interesante de leer (solo inglés claro) y da mucha información sobre nuestras fragatas favoritas. Pero en este formato, desde luego no merece la pena. Si hubiera un PDF con el contenido, seria mejor. No se si puedo pedir reembolso, pero la verdad, lo pediria.
