This cable is not a comparable replacement for the stock cable. The stock cable's connectors for my Audio Technica ath-E40 make an audible snap when they are plugged into the IEM's while the Earmax connectors do not. The Earmax connectors are so loose that they take less effort to remove than the 3.5 mm jack connected to my phone. This cable seems like a good way to lose a monitor while taking them out or putting them away. I would also like to mention that the cable is shorter than the stock cable. The only thing this cable has going for it is the plastic used to loop the cable around your ears is less stiff than the stock cable making it easy to form around your ear.

Ordered this to replace the cable for my ATH E40 works perfectly and the build is much nicer than the oem for less money. Would recommend to anyone needing to replace their in ear cables.

I went to the chinese webside for this cable, it's not a OCC cable as they describe ! it's is a 4C OFC upgrade cable, don't buy it!
