PLAYBULB Smart Night Light Speaker, Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Smart LED Mood Table Lamp for Kids/Baby/Children/Bedroom (Bear)

I’m generally very happy with this. My only complaint is that there’s no way to control the volume of the system sounds it plays. There’s a power on sound and there’s a voice that says “PAIRING” and “LOW BATTERY”. I wish I could turn those off completely. I use this as a nightlight in my newborn’s room and I’d rather get a notification on my phone alerting me of a low battery than having a voice yell and wake up my baby. The kicker is, I don’t even use the speaker for anything. I’m considering going in there and disconnecting the wires.All said, I’d buy this again. In fact, I also have the first version which does NOT have the speaker. That one is a 5 star rating.

Really great light for kids. We use it for guidance. Blue for tablet time, orange for tv time, red for bed, green for wake up. Recently figured out how to use and set up tap tap. This is our favorite feature. Wish if it was running low on battery it would text me instead of announcing it loudly. If I connect it to my phone the speaker syncs up. I can't wat

Recently my 6-year-old began waking up in the middle of the night, coming to my bedroom and asking, "Is it time to get up?" Now, she can look at the color of her adorable bear to get this answer without getting out of bed. Both of us are getting more sleep now!

This light/speaker works fantastically for a children's nightlight, however, I gave it a 4 star because there is a loud chime when you disconnect from Bluetooth that you can't adjust the volume of. Otherwise, we've been using it for about 3 months now, the kids love it and the sound quality isn't bad at all.

Why would anyone want a “lamp” that can only be controlled via smartphone and usb?
