I wanted knee pads to rescue my knees from rough stones that dig in while gardening. I have a portable foam pad, but these are easier because, once I put them on, I don't have to remember where I set the pad down at. The amount of cushioning is wonderful! The only downside, to me, is the straps. They are velcro, so they hold well, but if you're wearing shorts, the straps are a little rough on bare skin. They need some sort of felt or liner on the inside of the straps for comfort. Overall, definitely worth the purchase.

They work. But I'm wearing them over sweat pants so the straps are a little short.It will be better when the weather warms more and I can wear lighter pants or shorts. But over all I am pleased.
