Right out of the bags and onto my sectional couch. I didn’t wash them first because I had family and a dog visiting same day and wanted them on asap. So I can’t vouch for how they wash yet. This is the light gray color and we bought 3 separate pieces including the corner piece. It fits well and covers a lot. I didn’t get a little confused on sizes and what I need but fortunately my husband stepped in. Fabric is not real thick which I like. It came with straps but we don’t have them on. I’ll see how this holds up without them. Very happy with the fabric, comfort and the way it looks on a temporary basis.

The Sofa Shield fits a two-cushion loveseat well, but after one sits on the loveseat, the cover must be repositioned on the sides and backs of the cushions.

My current apartment is furnished and came with a futon. The futon is a forest green color that doesn't really go with the rest of my decor. I also wanted to protect the futon so I wouldn't get charged for anything when I eventually move out. This product is perfect for my needs. It fits like a glove. With that said, I would definitely caution that you should actually measure your piece of furniture and order the cover that matches this measurement instead of ordering based on the label/description. In my case, for example, I ordered the "loveseat" cover even though I have a futon because my futon is on the smaller side at ~54 inches. Taking a minute to actually measure your furniture and ordering accordingly could save you a big headache later on. It comes with a nice strap, but I didn't even bother putting it on because mine has been staying in place just fine without it. The color is pretty accurate to the pictures, so you'll have a good idea of what you are getting. I got the Charcoal/Linen combo and both colors are nice. I'm using the charcoal color right now and am really enjoying it, but it's nice to have a lighter option if I ever want to mix things up. The fabric is stitched almost like a quilt which gives it a nice look. It is soft to the touch, but don't expect a lot of cushion/padding. It's thin, but it doesn't feel like it will rip easily. I've only had it for about a week as of this review, so I can't really speak to it's durability, water resistance, or stain resistance. As I said, the material is thin, so I don't think it would hold up against a major spill, but it should definitely withstand a splash or two. The label says that it is machine washable, so I don't think cleaning is an issue. TL;DR: It should fit great if you order the right size. I ordered a loveseat cover for my 54-inch futon and it fits perfectly. It looks and feels great, but don't expect it to perform miracles protection-wise.

Have ONLY had for 3 days, so can't accurately report on "stain, water, stretch" BUT ... I love this thing, and after trying 2 others, think it's a great fit for my 12 year old crate n barrel $3K Loveseat that was so embarrassingly stained that I almost threw it out, but after I washed it, it looks great again, so I decided to PREVENT FUTURE soiling by getting a sofa cover. THIS ONE IS PERFECT-ish, or as close as you can get without buying custom fit zippered upholstery replacements. Mine has a single bottom cushion and single back cushion. The width as shown in pic from arm to arm is 53", and the width of cushion seat itself, is 43". From back to front is 35". With this amazingly tweakable cover I opted NOT to use the stretchy belt thingamajig and instead tucked cover completely behind back cushion, and tucked under the seated cushion. It allows the arm covers to nearly perfectly cover the arms, and so far it doesn't budge much at all. So, this is NOT for protection from pets, for me, but to offer a cozy, cool, clean new surface to my loveseat that will handle light spills and crumbs, or so I hope....You can tuck it taut if you are OCD (like me) every so often, so all in all, I am THRILLED. I will report back over time once I wash it and see how the "stretch and stains and h2O resistance" go...

The heft of the fabric is such that it's neither flimsy nor bulky. Because of its lack of bulk, it's quite easy to tuck into the crevices of the loveseat and adjust as necessary until you are happy with the coverage. In the picture shown, the coverage is good, however I wanted the back of the chair to have a little more coverage than shown because my cats get on top of the loveseat back, and usually stretch out with their paws at the edge. Claw marks are not a look I am going for on my new loveseat! Anyway, my loveseat is several inches narrower than the 54" seat width of the cover, and I'm happy to say that the extra width of the cover on my chair gives me a fully covered back and top, and any extra fabric width on the actual seat, tucks in nicely without being bulky. Another nice feature is that the cover has enough overhang over the back of the chair, that it stays in place without needing to apply the straps. That may not be the case if you have children who play on your sofas, but for the use the cover gets from 2 adults and 3 cats, it stays put. I ordered the loveseat cover first, to test quality, coverage and adherence to the loveseat, and being pleased with it, decided to order the oversized sofa cover from this company. It too, covers perfectly. I haven't laundered either cover yet to be able to comment on how well they hold up, but I expect an a gentle cycle, they will be fine.

Material is good. It fits well.

Cover is nice but should really come with another strap to hold down the arm flaps. Also, the loop the strap goes into comes off easily so you have to keep checking to make sure the strap doesn’t come undone. Otherwise the cover fits the couch nicely and is easy to wash.

Color: light grey/charcoal (charcoal side shown). I purchased these because our two cats were beginning to slowly destroy our brand new couch and chairs and i had tried the cheaper options like the sticky clear tape etc. Our furniture is a unique style with head rests that flip up and down and they’re also recliners so it was a nightmare trying to find covers that look nice and are quality. It is also sooo hard to find a couch cover for a sectional so I was so happy with the way these all pieced together and looked nice when on the couch. They do not look cheap, are machine washable, soft and versatile. We did not need to use the straps that were included (except for on the recliner chair). To cover my couch set I purchased this one, and then two of the large recliner chair size. Very happy with the result. I know it won’t totally fix my cats furniture scratching problem but they seem to be a lot less interested in scratching it with the covers on and it hides any existing blemishes. Solved my problem ! 5/5

My dogs feel quite at home on my couch, and I don't ever have to worry about accidents or damage to the uphostery.

It is good, soft, fits on my couch, easy to wash and dry, I give 3 stars tho because I notice some stitching is coming out along the edge. Otherwise it is good and arrived on time
