Memorex 80 Minute CD-RW 4x-12x High Speed 25 Pack Spindle

I always get CD-RW blank CDs; and these are a good choice.

They make great cd's.

I bought this 25-pack to back up my iTunes library.Pro:-Burned roughly 40 songs per minute... wow that's fast (in under 2 hours we burned all 8.65 days worth of our music)-Read-write capable (at speeds up to 12x)-13 discs held 2165 songs, and since this was a 25-pack, we still have 12 left-No problems with writing, no chipped, scratched, cracked or otherwise defective discs-Comes with a holder and a cover that twists and "locks"-Case could hold what I estimate is another 8 discs or 33 total if you remove the foam spacer and clear CD-shaped protector-Minimal packaging waste to deal with and easy to open, no act of congress to open-Very good price and even better value-"Sharpie" ink pen writes on surface okCon:-Disc graphics are annoying, no significant clear space/area to write... surface covered with small "silver squares" that dot almost the entire surfaceNeutral:-Top is clear #5 plastic (base is black #5 plastic), good for seeing inside, bad for letting in UV light (hence the nuetral)-Scratch resistance is unknown. We burned our discs and then packed them away.Bottom line: Highly recommended. Have had no issues, discs appear to perform as expected.

I used this product for burning CDs and then ripping them back into the computer so I could change the format of the songs

I like the spindle pack. It makes the handling of the CDs easier and cleaner.And the 25 pack is perfect for backing up all my files and folders. It's nice to have an external Hard Drive too. But this is what I take with me to the basement when there's a tornado watch. After I get my pet carriers ready, the CDs are next.In fact, there's another reason. Less than two years ago, my computer was compromised. After I had it cleaned (not swiped),checked and repaired, the computer would not recognize my external HD. Neither my computer company, nor the HD company, could help me fix the problem. I'm grateful I had my CDs to get the information back that was in the previous HD. The external hard drive was less than two years old itself, so I didn't expect any problems with it. Well ...So now, I back up everything on CDs ... first.

Still working on the first CD RW. But I've had Memorex blanks and the recording were fine. The test is how many recording can I get off 1 CD-RW before it starts screwing up.

So far one out of the first ten I tried has worked ok. The rest are only fit for the trash can. Worst ads I ever tried.

I use these discs for recording analog sources onto disc using a Tascam C.D. recorder. After recording I upload the original file to my computer for editing, click/pop removal. I then erase the CD-RW, and use it again for a new project. These discs are durable, and can be re-recorded on many times. Highly recommended by me.

I am using this to make digital recordings from radio. As I don't know beforehand whether I enjoy a particular piece of music, I can erase the recording that was last made and record over it with something I like. It's like a stack of dishes in a way. Quality is far superior to tape recording.
