I love the Spirit II E-310 GBS Gas Barbecue. I knew I wanted a Weber BBQ grill when I moved over here from the United States. I had a Spirit II E-200 Series Gas Barbecue back in the United States, so the thought was a no brainer. Since I was a young boy, I have always been in the kitchen. Why I didn’t study to be a chef is beyond me. So anyways....1) Weber's grill is built with the same high quality that I have always known them for. The outside of the grill is painted well. I've grilled maybe 20 times so far without any peeling of the paint. I know this can be an issue if you run the grill at high temperatures like I do on occasions. (The explanation will come later)2) The grates inside are made from cast iron, so you know they are going to last. This is a major selling point for me. Other grill come with those think wire grates, sometimes painted black. Don't do it, don’t buy them, you will regret it. I highly suggest you go with the cast iron grates because they too are able to stand high heat.3) The burners seem to be really good. If I am doing a low and slow cook, the flame is still there. I haven’t had any issues with a low flame. This has three gas knobs which means you can set them two outside knobs to a higher temp with the middle knob on low temp so the heat rolls through the grill to cook evenly. The heat shields are good quality.4) Accessories I have bought... a) The rotisserie for roasts, and chickens. I've done a roast on it. I actually BBQ'd a chicken shawarma on it. SO FREAKING GOOD!!!! b) Chicken up the butt beer can cooker. I haven’t used this yet. But you can clearly see it is high quality. c) Weber BBQ cover. Good quality. It's stayed on during several of Cornwall's heavy rainstorms with high winds. d) Ceramic pizza stone. I received this free with an offer from Weber. It's high quality. I haven’t used it much because I have a Lodge Cast Iron pizza grill. *** Alright, this is the high temperature part I was talking about.***I heat the grill up to about 500F/260C to simulate a Italian pizza oven. It works great!!! I preheat my grill for a minimum of 30 minutes. You want whichever stone/grill you are using to cook the bottom of the crust quickly to create a good base. The Spirit II E-310 GBS Gas Barbecue is a great grill to cook your pizza. I've used it several times. e) I am in the process of buying the Spirit full size griddle. I love a good smash burger. You can also make fajitas, cheese steaks, and other foods on it. So I am looking forward to getting it.*** Another thing I highly recommend is downloading the Weber Grills app. It is handy. It will teach you how to set up your grill to cook properly to get the most out of the grill. It also has recipes which is also good! ***Well, there we are then. This is my review of the Spirit II E-310 GBS Gas Barbecue. I hope this review helps you decide to buy it. I haven’t had any issues with any of the Webers I've bought over the years and this one is no exception.
