Great book

One of the best books for at system of ceremonial magic, to use as a template for working any sort of spell or invocation, or anything really. It also works great on it's own without adding material from a grimoire or a black book or system. It has become part of my basic ritual and spell approach.It's easy and quick to do work these rituals, once you've done the attunements for the handseals you will be using, which are short exercises to get through. And from then on, you can invoke planetary/zodiacal/elemental forces into you, your space, or an object very quickly without much effort. Be it doing the spell as is in this book, or adding the infusing of a planetary talisman from a grimoire to the ritual template from this book, and so on.It's a revolutionary book to Western occultism. Taoist and Buddhist folkmagic traditions do use handseals and body postures too, for their spells, invocations, energywork exercises, and rituals in general - but for Western occultism, it's still fairly unusual to add handseals and body postures to practical magic and ceremonial magic. This book supplies this well, in a way that is quick to read and apply to practise, and very effective and useful for practically anything.I hope Donald Tyson will publish a 2nd book expanding this system!

Simple yet profound easy to use magic for any level of magical practice.

This book has a complete system of Magic in and of itself that can be learnt and practiced almost instantaneously due to its simplicity and efficacy.I have personally attributed the different stances and gestures to rituals that I was already working daily within the Western Esoteric tradition.However, the most valuable part of this system of Magic in my eyes is its portability. You can perform Magic anywhere in a manner of seconds. Through practice the hand gestures alone can call forth the energy represented by them. That makes these magic very practical. It can be used to help with anxiety at work, anger during an argument or even courage during an attack.Overall, this is amazing. And it isn't new age gobble. This is a scientific system.
