Encourages the reader to get up and bust-a-move.
Bear Moves by Ben Bailey Smith; Illustrated by Sav AkyüzIn this rollicking sequel to I Am Bear, Bear Moves's narrative combines strong percussive rhythms with fun, descriptive action words and beautiful, bold, graffiti-esque illustrations to encourage the reader to get up and bust-a-move. I call this the ultimate “Rise-and-Shine” book! Everybody, children and adults alike, will have a good hearty laugh at the word play in this fun, laugh-out-loud, shake-your-tail-feather book.Thank you to Candlewick Press for sending me this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

Dance Like You Can Move (Even If You Can't)
In BEAR MOVES, a purple bear named Bear, gets his groove on as he shows the reader all kinds of different dance moves. The book has a lot of fun wordplay with various dances and moves. For instance, when doing the fox trot Bear actually is doing the fox trot with a fox. With the witty wordplay, the book can be fun for both adults and children.

Some rhymes about dancing
This book has a little crude humor (a lot of butt humor, I should say); there’s no plot, just some half-rhyming about different types of dancing the bear does.

Ok but not most engaging rhyme book
I bought this after reading so many rave reviews and it was fine but not an amazing range of rhyming images. There are a lot of competitors in this kind of field and we’ve got on better with Julia Donaldson ones and Oi Frog etc and even the classic Dr Seuss rhyme books engaged my toddler more. Horses for courses I guess, nothing fundamentally wrong, just didn’t grab us
