The price and technology of irons nowadays is overwhelming. I needed something simple, doesnt have to be a robot and do the work for me... just a good old fashioned hot steam iron and this fits the bill! Easy to use, long cord and not so heavy for long ironing tasks.

I realized the surface of the iron doesn't burn or get scratched if I dont use spray starch.Water in the iron for steam works best to preserve the face of the iron without an iron cover.

Threw away last two irons that were supposed to be great for what I paid. This black & decker is what I needed.

Heats up fast, runs smoothly, and has a nice long chord. Worth the money!

Bought this iron because it was Amazon Choice and the price was really good. Enjoyed using it. I even accidentally dropped it once and it was still working. The problem is it lasts about 2 years before you you have to replace it or buy a new iron. My iron I bought in 2023 just stopped heating today, and I could could not iron my shirt. I bought a new iron today from Amazon by a different brand that had a limited time deal on Amazon, which made the price similar to what I paid for this iron. Hopefully that one last longer than 2 years and is just as good.

This is a great small iron. The steamer works wonderfully and it irons the toughest wrinkles easily.
